Farewell Mr. Kon Satoshi

Tribute to one of the leader of the new generation of directors. He died too young but he left us an incredible treasure in our heart thanks to his animation works. Thank you very much Mr. Kon Satoshi. m(_ _)m

Do you know who is Kon Satoshi?

    That's a great piece! I think you captured all the leading ladies really well.

    I watched Paprika again last night - his attention to detail in his work was unparalleled. I still can't believe he's gone...

      I wish he would do dozen more of films before leaving us. That's truly unfortunate.

      I was personally overwhelmed by Perfect Blue the first I watched it on TV!

    Beautiful ;_;
    I loved Kon and his movies so much. I'm so happy I was able to meet him when he was visiting Stockholm. He will be missed greatly.

      You're lucky, he did a conference in France in 2003 and I think he came to Cannes once.

    RIP Satoshi Kon, he will be missed in the animation world.

    PB and MA are classics. I loved paranoia agent and tokyo godfathers, but could not like Paprika somehow.

      That's funny because Paprika is also the one I like the least.
      My favourites are Perfect Blue and Millenium Actress too. :)

    It's a great shame he's passed away, but I think his family can be very proud of what he achieved. All of his works are very imaginitive and thought-provoking. RIP.
