Help! How to open DD head

I just squeeze Agatha's head on the sides, right above the ears, and then pry up the headcap. On the other hand, Agatha's headcap has a notch cut out of it to make it more flexible for that very purpose. I've heard of other people using a hairdryer to soften the vinyl up a bit if just squeezing alone isn't enough. I do think that maybe DDs should have magnetic headcaps like many resin dolls though.

Some headcaps are harder to open than the others, I had an absolutely terrible time trying open Escalayer's headcap, was very very tight >.<

I use hairdryer everytime. First is to heaten the seamlines around the headcap. After awhile you can feel it has been soften, so use force to press then squeeze both the cap and the rest of head as well. It might be deform little bit but as long as the vinyl stay soft you can make it up later. Good luck

Once you do get the head cap off, you can always do a little modification to it to make it easier to put back on (and remove in the future). Some DD heads are harder that others. Some DD heads are a bit soft so you can just squish it and pop the cap out. If not for really hard heads, you can use a hair dryer to make it soft, but I always just use a flat butter knife to carefully pop it open.

puedes tratar de abrir la tapa de la cabeza con un cuchillo de cocina que no tenga mucho filo introducelo en alguna comisura y has un poco de palanca eso si con mucho cuidado tanto para que te lastimes ni tu ni tu niña , si no trata de utilisar una pistola de aire caliente para hablandar el vinil,a una distancia discreta no muy cercana y con unos 20 segundos se hablandara y podras sacarle la headcap,saludos.
