MG Sazabi, G-System Preps

Posted by Otaku Surf [www]

I decided to finally get a Master Grade Gundam model from one of the classic series/movies and got the MG Sazabi Metallic kit.

I'm glad I got it and it's a really nice finish! I didn't think I would like a pre-metallic coated model, since I've seen a few at a few shows and they looked okay.

The Sazabi is massive! So bit in fact that it was hard to pose it at times, but I guess that's the tradeoff since it's so big and it's armor is so wide. All in all one of my favorite designs from classic Gundam.

The MG Sazabi was also a test run for me to get acquainted with modding parts and spray painting (finishes and joints) since I have already ordered the modded G-System Sazabi. Another first for me, a resin kit. That's going to take some time and a lot of patience.

I must confess that while I am not really a fan of model kits these days, this is one of those mobile suits that are worth recommending. `(^_^ )/ And modded or not, it ends up looking like a beautiful piece of work when it is under the right light. (^_^ )
