Zaku II Johnny Ridden - NKGC Orange Contest
After the Gundam Head, here one other model I've finished in this time, the Zaku II for the NKGC Orange Contest.
He did not come just as I wanted, but I am satisfied with the result.
Compared to the original model, I modified the thruster attack on the legs, add some details and various panels and some options part.
Unfortunately, the metallic orange came not as I expected ...

A little update, retouched the old orange with some clear red. Now is really orange!!!!
hmmm... the metallic orange looked yellow at my screen nyah '____'
Yeah, it seem gold.
But it's a steel base with clear orange Tamiya...
Never trust on clear... :D
Over all it looks good, but if I were judging an orange themed category and there was a competitor who's suit was all orange, I'd have to go with him based on the theme alone. :/

But now is impossible to masking all the rest and repaint the orange parts...

No, only orange...
But yesterday I've modified and recoloured the orange parts with some Red clear.
Now is really orange!!!!
