Mobile phone camera

When I went out with Yunocchi the other day, Henrietta came with us too. I had quite a good shoot planned for her but my camera ate most of it’s battery on Yunocchi, so it ran out after just 2 shots of Henrietta. However, I had the [crazy] idea to continue taking photo’s, but on my Mobile Phones camera. I didn’t exactly hold much hope in it. I didn’t think I’d come away with a set worth posting.

At the time, I considered it just a ‘test’ and a bit of fun, but when I got home and looked at the pictures on my pc I was surprised. They actually came out pretty decent [keeping in mind its just a 3mp phone camera] so in the end, I could post my photo’s after all.

As you can see in the background here, I took these photo’s in a woodland area, so there wasn’t much sunlight and I didn’t use the phones flash either. The picture came out surprisingly well. My best picture of the day I think, this image is now actually my phone wallpaper. I just love it.

This image isn’t as crisp, but I find the darker, softer look of the image looks quite nice. From this angle, Henrietta looks very insecure in my opinion so I think it fits nicely.

Although the background looks very fuzzy on this shot, I was amazed how crisp and clear the details on her face came out, especially her eyes.

Although these images are far from perfect, I think its very impressive for the dark damp conditions they were taken in and the fact that its just a built in phone camera. The photo’s look lighter then the actual area was. I’m still impressed overall.

I’m going to have to try a figure shoot with my phone again, but this time in conditions with better natural light for better results. Could be interesting.

Heres a bonus shot of one I managed to snap on my actual camera, before it died. I just adore her childish knees.

Nothing wrong using cellphone for taking picture.
I use my cellphone to take pictures and post it at DC.com and recently I switched into compact camera because my cellphone camera is dying :D

I've been using my cell phone camera for pictures since I dropped my real camera last year and "broke" it. (It'll still take pictures but they're all psychedelic colored!) The phone pics come out pretty good. Unfortunately, my LG Voyager doesn't have a flash, don't know what the designers were thinking there, because in any dark light you're screwed.

Still it will suffice till I can buy a better camera.

I use cellphone to take photos too because it is very easy.
Can you give me some tips of taking photos of figures, because i cant get a clear quality when the figure are too close to the camera and my cellphone dont have auto focus.

Until she whips out her submachine gun and points it at you. You *do* know that's what Henrietta's hiding in that violin case, right? x_x"
