Miu is a photographer too!

So Miu only recently joined my family but she is already showing off some of her tendencies...

Miu is a photographer too!

Miu was looking around the apartment and noticed I had a lot of electronics...

Miu is a photographer too!

It looks like she took a liking to my MacBook Pro... I wonder what she is looking at?

!! She found her first post on figure.fm.

I think she wants to take some pictures too. Who is her first target? Quite the wine taste she has going for such a huge lens for her first try!

Miu is a photographer too!

Oooh, looks like she wanted to photograph Momohime

Mouseover = load notes.
Miu is a photographer too!

Looks like Momohime was too aggressive so now she wants to try someone a bit smaller.... Azunyan!

Mouseover = load notes.
Miu is a photographer too!

Framing the shot and using a smaller lens this time...

Miu is a photographer too!

Oh! It looks like she is quite pleased with how Azunyan's picture turned out.

Good job Miu! Azunyan looks great... next time you might want to back up just a little bit more to show how embarrassed she is.

Wow Miu! Jumping to Hatsune Miku just like that? You sure don't waste any time do you?

Miu is a photographer too!

Framing up her next shot, she really is a natural at this isn't she?

Good job Miu! You really captured Hatsune Miku "World is Mine" pose.

I hope Miu and I haven't made too rapid of posts... I'll make sure she doesn't upload so often from now on...

    Eek. These shelves look like they are in danger.

    Love the close-up of Azunyan above :)

      I was worried about those shelves for a while, but they've held for 4+ years now so don't let the sagging fool you.

      Miu scolded me because I forgot at first to upload the pictures she took with her camera as well, glad you liked it. ^_~

    She looks great with that wig. Looks like darker version of Aoi's one.

      I agree, although I don't dislike the original wig the shorter brown hair works much better. Now it is just a waiting game before the new clothes I ordered arrive...

    I agree, that wig looks fantastic. Makes her look more spritely and spunkier. Love the shots where she's behind that giant camera--makes me think of really old analog movie cameras, like some of the 30's Technicolor beasts.

    Great pics you got, I also agree the wig looks fantastic on her. I love the shots of her holding the DSLR - so cute.

    I have to say that I have "tripod envy" :D You have the model I had wanted to order, the one with the pivoting neck. I had way to many browsers open when I ordered mine (looking at different models) and got mixed up when I placed my order. That one I got is still nice, it just doesn't have that one feature.

    Can't wait to see more pics when her clothes come in.

      That tripod is really handy for down low macro photography, but it is really heavy! I actually want to splurge on an aluminum one with a pan/tilt head instead of the ball joint head I have now.

        What's funny is I have a Manfrotto with a pan tilt head. :D It's a 190XDB with a manfrotto 804rc2 head. I know it's not a perfect tripod I'm just so happy it's stable. My last tripod (also my first) was made of plastic so you can guess how well that worked.

    Oh, is that the Canon 100mm macro lens I spot there? That's a very sweet lens.

    Feel the same as Otakudepot, that's a spiffy Manfrotto tripod you got there.

      She started off shooting on a Canon EOS 50D with the 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM, then opted for the 100mm f/2.8 USM. I was shooting using the Canon EOS 7D with 24-70mm f/2.8L USM.
