Figure Shops

Hey everyone! This is my first actual post on here! I'm currently on my first trip to Japan! It's as amazing as I could of hoped. I'll be sure to update more and throw some pictures on too. So, anyways, I was just wondering if you guys had any suggestions for figure shops? They can be in Akihabara or elsewhere, it doesn't matter. This would be a big help for me, as it will be the start of my collection. Thanks everyone!

as long as u noe know to take the train down to akihabara
probably enough for you to walk around till u drop
its like animegoods shop side by side
there is nothing to suggest
rmb to visit one of the maid cafe while taking a break-> i suggest home@cafe
maybe u can try the Ikebukuro area (Animate+KBooks)
would have lesser ppl..
haha i went to @home cafe too xD if your goin akihabara then i dont think its gonna be a problem finding for figure shops you know. lol. but i will suggest going to a few shops and compares prices of figures. prices varies from places to places. animate is good, or as one of our comrades posted before nakano broadway aint too bad
which one did u went to ?
the headquarters side where 4 floors are all homecafe with different theme
or the one inside a building near a arcard.
Radio Kaikan store outside Akiba station is the best place to start. Take the escalator to the 4th floor and work your way down.
Thanks for the feedback guys :D
Aside from the paradise that is Akiba, be sure to check out Nakano Broadway. Great place for second hand figures (in 'as new' condition) and trading figures. Some of the stuff can be pretty pricey, but it's definitely worth a look. Just be aware that some of the shops there don't open until until 12 or 1pm. My friends and I went there in the morning on our first visit and we had to wait around for some of the shops to open...XD
Yeah there is plenty of stuff on the main street. Try looking on the side streets and around corners. There are more anime shops hidden away.
