Well I recently came across my first master grade, like....this guy was the guy who popped my master grade cherry. Point is I am ashamed of my craftsmanship, the paint job came out disgusting, black paint came out all bubbly. Point is....is there anyway to re-paint it? sorry for the shitty photo.....iPhone

First of all its not that bad.^^ But if you want to re-paint and you are afraid of ruining it again you can take it to shops where they will do it for you. To re-paint you rather have to paint the whole thing over again and do all the details by yourself (or even change the colour of it) or just cover the parts that are messed up, with white or any other colour that matches the old paint. I have a couple of master grades but never managed to have the time to paint them ^^
Did you paint it with spray paint?
Yeah, I used Tamiya, Primer and black
K sure thing. I did the same thing on my first MG, Nu Gundam, and I was kinda bummed about it. I usedprimer and tamiya black. So what you need to do is hold the can back about a foot and move the can back and forth. Think of it as not wanting for the paint to be spraying on one spot for too long at one time. So back and forth and about 1 foot away from the plastic should keep the bubbles from forming. Same thing goes for dullcoat and clearcoat.
This is a good tutorial that Danny Choo which has some good info about painting an decals and such.
yeah I did that but I think I added way toooooooo much hahaha
Sand everything, then re-paint.
the only thing I painted was the black..thats bout it
that was my first master grade as well, use one of these for painting http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10064119
Aw, don't be mean to your poor Gundam. Poor thing looks so sad!
Can't tell cause the shot is blurry but looks okay.. xD
Just sand off the paint with something low grit and smooth out the plastic with higher grit, then repaint :D
Don't worry, mistakes happen. We're all Human here.
