Otacute Free Gift

This rather confused me.
Ordered a figure from Otacute.com.
And as is usual they gave a free gift. This time it was a 3d lenticular picture. It had a hole in it that I was baffled as to how to use it, it obviously wasn't for a hook as it was at the bottom of the image. Then I had a brain-wave, and... Well, you can see the results for yourselves.
I'm just rather surprised it got through quality control. I guess that's why it was a free gift.

Ive ordered from Otacute twice and I've never gotten a free gift...
Think it depends on the value of the order. When I buy cheaper stuff, there is no free gift.
It must be a lot then. Cause I ordered a 80 dollar figure last week XD
Well, make sure you check the entire box, some of the items get mixed up with the packing, like a sheet of stickers etc.

Last week I was folding up boxes and suddenly.. A trading card fell out.
Out of the box Azusa was shipped in.

About 80% of my preorders are thru them.

they gave me a free anime character key chain, I didn't know who she was so I looked her name up and she was from some hentai game xD

Lol. I order a bunch from otacute too. I ve gotten trading figures, cards and other small trinkets as free gifts. It's really cool that they do that. I think I've gotten a gift for pretty much all my orders. I actually got this lenticular fan too. Lol never noticed the odd placing of the finger hole until you pointed it out.

I got the same toy story item you got with my touhou puchi set1. Last week I also got a free one piece gash set that's worth 2000yen due to the cancellation of the Taiga china dress ver being cancelled. That was a big surprise.
Ya, when I got home one day I was like what is this box, oh from otacute.com but I only did 3 payments, why are there 4 boxes here though -_-???

When I used play-asia they always included stickers or a bunch of nice anime post cards. Too bad they ship from HK(customs >_< ).

Yup, every now and then... that's why I believe the stores include the souvenirs based on availability. And the 5% discount coupon is standard on play-asia packages.
Man that's odd. They should do that more often! Yeah, atually I can't remember NOT getting a discount coupon from them. At least that's better than getting nothing.

I've only gotten free stuff from Otacute once, and that was when they had zetta delays on my Asuka earphones -- which were shipped alone.
