Help on purchasing items through Y!Japan auctions

So, now that I live in Japan and have a Japanese bank account, I would really like to take this wonderful opportunity to buy some rare items through Yahoo Japan auctions.
However...
All of the guides I've been finding online are to help people who live in other countries use deputy services, which I definitely don't need. XD;
I already have a Y!Japan account and have given them my address. All I need to know is how to tell which auctions accept bank transfers and how to go about the process of sending said money to the seller. (Basically, I want to know if they give me their bank account # so I can pop that in my ATM machine or if the fee shows up in my bank, etc).
I took a quick screen cap of two different auctions' "how to pay" sections to show you what I'm talking about. They list banks such as Yuucho Ginkou, Bank of Tokyo, etc, but does this mean I have to have a bank account through one of the listed banks in order to send money to them? Will my dinky little Kansai bank not work? D8 If so, I'm probably screwed, but that's why I wanted to seek help from anyone who has had experience with this.
Thanks in advance!

I dunno about US.
But here in Brazil, the bank says: Japanese bank and accounts don't receive money from other countries. So you need make an account in Japan and provide your own money from custom exchange (from you to yourself).
So I would recommend other services like our comrade @otakudog:
http://www.otakuagency.com/
And other that I don't know the name.
But mainly, if the rules in Brazil serves the same as US, you can't do it.
Ops sorry, didn't read the first line.
So yes, since I took some time there, I get the money from my bank and went to another bank make the deposit.
Fill the paper will account and stuff and done.
If you are in Tokyo, some bank can help you in english. But mainly, is all about go there and pay.
.......Um XD I live in Japan and have a Japanese bank account, as I said above.
I want help on sending money through my Japanese bank account.
Sry, I just read from mid to end. But since the last phrase didnt make sense, I read entirely after I posted.
Well, that's what I did 4 years ago.
1) Win auction.
2) Get account of the auction owner.
3) Went to my bank get that amount.
4) Went to his bank deposit to that account.
5) Wait for the stuff.
But it was a long time ago ^^;;;
It's okay! XD Thanks for the tips!
Hi! I have bought from YAJ one time last year and i did it:
1-after you win the auction, a mail by send from the seller what will be write how the product will be send and the bank account information. Also have the option of pay whit credit card using the yahoo kantan service, but u will have to pay for the yahoo premium service for use it.
2- i send a mail to the seller saying how i want to make the payment ( in my case was account bank transfer) and send my bank account number, adress, telephone number and my name to the seller.
3- so i got to a atm cash and make the transfer, and again i send other message to him saying what i already make a transfer.
4- finally, after the seller confirm the payment, he send a message what the payment was sucessful made and sent the product to me.
And after 2 days the product arrived to me. Its a little complicated, but not so that hard, i used google translate to send messages in japanese... Ah! And u dont need to have the same bank account what the seller, any bank account is ok, except of the post mail bank. Sorry for the long comment, i hope this will help you a little.^_^
Wow, thanks for the step by step process! That really helps!
Just one question. If the seller only lists Yuucho Bank (I think this is the post office...), and doesn't list a normal bank, I can't make a payment by bank transfer?
I guess I was just confused with the different bank types because both sellers in my example screen shot listed their specific banks rather than just saying "I can do bank transfers!" XD
humm... if is listed i think is ok. Depends on the seller. For me the seller what i bid dont accepted post office bank.
if you can send to me the product link what u want to bid i can check for you.;)
Also, you need to have a premium Yahoo Japan account in order to bid on items that cost more than 4998 yen.
Make sure you get that sorted before you try fighting people on auctions.
*nods* I saw that posted somewhere on the auction site. Sucks, since I'm not going to have a credit card here, but ah well. XD;
Thanks for the heads up!
I'm actually stuck in the same boat. There are some items that I'm desperate to have, but yet I cannot bid on because I have no Japanese credit card and no Yahoo Premium account.
It's really frustrating me to no end.
TT I hear ya. They sure know how to tempt us! Especially with such a low cut off price for regular accounts.
Btw, given the timing, are you by any chance a JET?
