Nendoroid Petite Case

Posted by Crimson03 [www]

Just wondering how many people out there have display cases for their nendo puchis. I mean .. having a couple of them is one thing, but collecting enough till they need their own spot in the corner of your own room?!

Decided to get this done when figure.fm comrade @ninjovee showed me a pic of a casing she had.

There was none in my area that would fit nendo petites, so i decided to improvise!

Mouseover = load notes.
Nendoroid Petite Case

it all started by checking out light wood blocks. The ones used to make planes and boats.

Mouseover = load notes.
Nendoroid Petite Case

And getting a common sized casing for model tanks.

Mouseover = load notes.
Nendoroid Petite Case

This was pretty much the plan. Nekos being kept safe from my facehugger.

Mouseover = load notes.
Nendoroid Petite Case

Spray painted and organized. Now i can stack more puchis!

Mouseover = load notes.
Nendoroid Petite Case

I love it when u bunch up puchis, so colorful!

Mouseover = load notes.
Nendoroid Petite Case

Protected from horrid dust!

Mouseover = load notes.
Nendoroid Petite Case

With steps in the display case, u can nearly see them all

Mouseover = load notes.
Nendoroid Petite Case

Cut, sanded and sprayed

Mouseover = load notes.

Another side shot.

Mouseover = load notes.
Nendoroid Petite Case

Thats not all the puchis i got ..

Mouseover = load notes.

There's more scattered all around!

    Woha that's pretty neat! casing for tank kits, great idea ^^
    I tried to make something with several di:stage clear case extensions, but this sucks a bit actually ^^
    Need to make something similar, maybe a bit taller for figmas and nendoroids.
    Dust is so invasive -_-

      yeah Figma sized casings are a bit hard, might have to custom the transparent plastic >.< Alternative for figmas are display shelves >.< I tried di:stage .. but dust is .. EVIL!!

    Nice job! I only have a few petites, but I'd love a nice case for my normal-sized nendos and figures. I don't want any of them in the open air - who knows what is floating around!

    All of my figures are in open air. ^ ^;
    But I dust them and move them around regularly.

    It will be a while until I have any shelves or cabinets.

      that drossel was a defect, but i made a couple of comics with her too. After sending pics to the makers, they gave me another drossel figma for free ^^

    Personally I don't think this looks good at all. There's so many of them crammed in there that you can't even tell who's behind the ones in the first row. I saw a nice display for petits from someone on myfigurecollection.net where it was a large window sized display with shelves and it was wide enough for the petits to stand on side by side.

      its more of a storage where i keep them, when i dont use them. living in a rented place and i often have more room for cosplays and all that. but yeah its cramped, but safe from dust! saving money to buy my own place one day then i be having a display room =D

      Sniff! rented place = no drilling on walls. i'm a tool person, i may not be able to modify my current place coz its rented, so i get jealous of people who have displays like that. Down here in Tasmania, we get white dust real easily especially within less than 3 weeks. so i brush them all the time, then found this solution. Keeping them in .. cryo stasis lol

        Yeah, renting a place makes it harder to display things. But there are ways to keep things like that display up without having to drill holes in the wall! :D There's always a way. But it's nice to keep them dust free in the meantime!
