Yuki's Umbrella Day Out

Just passed by the grocery today before I headed home from school, and I found these really cute Umbrella Picks. Reminds me of the days when each and every drink and desert would come with a tiny Umbrella Pick in it! I would open it up, spin it then let go, and watch it glide down... =3

Doesn't it just look cute on Yuki?

More piccies on my Flickr, though you'll have to add me up as a contact first since my Figma Sets are for contacts/friends only. ^____^

The pics were taken with my new Canon 40D EOS... though the quality wasn't as good as I expected.

Shutter Speed at 1/40
ISO at 320
Aperture at 5.0

Any suggestions to make the quality look better?

I think the ISO setting is too high. You take this pic at outdoor day light, right? Try to use below 200. In outdoor daylight, low ISO like 80 can produce a sharp images. But ofcourse it depend on how you focusing your lens too.

Oh... I don't think my ISO can go as low as 80... I think I can only go down to 100.

Different camera got different ISO setting, so try to use ISO 100 :)
Buf if the sky is cloudy, no sunlight at all, raise the ISO, but try to take at ISO 100 first to see the different.

I'm still new too in photography, so mostly I made tons of photoshoot with different setting and selecting the best for posting.

Hey, I did this too! I actually bought a whole package at Pretty Party Place. I think I gave my Yuki a blue one, an orange one to Haruhi, and of course a pink one to Mikuru. I should set them up that way and take pictures. But yeah, I was happy to find they were the perfect scale, and cheap to boot!

Oh, it looks like you cut the pointy tip off of it. It looks good that way. I might have to try that on mine. Did you just use scissors?

Yeap! Plain scissors. It was a bit too long for me so I cut the points off my around 2cm more or less. If you want, you can polish it too.
