Virtue Nadleeh Warrior Of Chaos Vers (DannyChoo Bandai AFA Entry)
this is my first Online Competition i'm joining
I'm from Indonesia although right now i'm studying at Perth Australia for my master degree
the kit i'm using are 1/100 Virtue/Nadleeh
and it takes 6 months to finish it
and quite pleased with the result
the idea is Warrior of Chaos from Warhammer
when I'm made arios in here (australia) no so many people put attention to it
usually when a kid saw a gundam, they will put they eye into it (at least in Indonesia)
but in here all of them thinks it's transformer
kinda Sad actually
so now I'm trying to put some Western Style to solve that problem
and here's the result
just remember, danny want me to put my of hope of the Gunpla I would like Bandai to make and in what scale.
i hope bandai want to make 1/100 MG Flag or Susanowoo/Masurao
or
MG Turn X Gundam

and here's the Detail. i'm using Gaia Paint for the main color
it's Gun Metal mix with Clear Fluorecent (That's why if you see it in different angle, the color is little change)
and Ex-Silver and also German Gray Mister Color
and i also put metal pin (i'm buy it from tailor near my house)
make the shoulder armor longer using Epoxy Putty
Put Little Spikes
and of course some Warhammer Style Ornament
this is my favorite Part :p
and also add Symbol of Chaos on leg armor (take month to make it)
cut some original virtue armor to make it SLIMMER
of course chaos knight is not complete without skull and chain isn't
chain again

i cannot modifying it too much because if i change too much, he will cannot wear his armor

I think I have now found a use for all those spare warhammer bits I got lying around. Use of epoxy putty for shoulder extensions seems a bit wasting? Cheaper alternative would be plasticard, and can be used for other modifications.
But overall, very nice conversion. The East meets the West.
i'm already try using pla plate to extend it
but somehow it's not well fit, i don't know why
also it's easier to do it using epoxy
it's cheaper if you compare to pla plate for another reason (at least in my country)
That's one AWESOME kickass Virtue/Nadleeh!!! The mods are really impressive. I actually prefer your Nadleeh over Virtue mode.

Chaos in W40K has four main corners, so I thought your style with Virtue was for Khorne the god of war and death, seeing the spikes and axe and all. Tzeentch is his opposite, sneaky and never fighting fair. One of the Tzeentch deamons are bird-like creatures, so I thought... well, LOL. XD
But even if you're new to Warhammer you got the looks pinned down exactly as a Chaos machine would look like. :)

Your manlier aka GAR-lier versions of nadleeh and virtue are extravagant. Or to put it this way this kicks ass and spleen. The nadleeh's chain hair looks like a jamaican dreadlocks but nevertheless I grade this E.

I think both fall into the pitfall of too many spiky bits but not Chaos enough. Chaos is not just spikes, it's change and deliverance. He could use some techno-organic bits ala Obliterators. Everything is more fun with disgusting half mutant and half machine beings. They just seem newbie foder subjects at this point.

By just looking at this post... I can confirm that a total "weaklings" like me will never survive this competition... there is no way an "out of the box straight assembled" GunPla can match this superbly painted and modified work.... and I guess more magnificent work will come in the near future.... maybe I should first learn how to paint my GunPla before even thinking to join this prestigious competition... good luck to all who will join the battle... all the best...
