Mio Akiyama School Festival Ver. - Max Factory vs upLark vs ALTER

Your comparison is mostly based on opinions, like "Cutest face of the 3" in the Alter Mio. True that it is your review and it is all based on your thoughts, but some of the pros and cons are based on your opinions. However, that's ok, after all, it is your comparison, not mine ^^;
Personally, I'm not a Mio fan (Least Favorite K-On girl. Favorite is Ritsu). However, if I were to choose from the three, I'd say go for Alter's. You clearly love that version, and she does have the cheapest price, a definite plus if you're short on cash! I say go for the Alter, but in the end it's your decision ^^;

I'd say go for the Max Factory one... but that's just the one that I like the most. The hair on the ALTER one looks really strange. It's up to you though. Good luck!

I have upLark ver.
Got it from local store which cost me less then 40 USD, and very satisfied with the colouring, face and posture.

I was having the same debate between MF's and Alter's For me I really love MF's pose and outfit although the outfit does look a little less like what it's supposed to. I'd say Alter's is more accurate, but to me MF's one is just more appealing. While I don't like how she hides her face I also gotta say I do like it because to me it's really cute. The way she holds or rather hides behind her bass doesn't bother me either. So yeah I decided on MF's in the end. Although both Alter and MF's one are good choices or so I'd think (can't really say for sure until they're released).

I like the max factory version, it seems to evoke some emotion when you look at it.
I reckon it clearly shows Mio's personality

I preordered the MaxFactory one the day it was available. By far its my favorite above all the others. I knew that I wanted this figure since the moment I saw images of it way back before it was even colored.

The fact that she's hiding her face behind her hand is something I kind of like, you don't see it much. Her embarrassed look is so cute it makes me want to tease her more... the fact that Ritsu is one of my favorite K-ON! characters is probably a reason for that.

Definitely the Max Factory; it's beautiful, and reflects her personality perfectly.

I have both Alter and MF ver. on pre-order. I think the slim right hand problem on Alter's ver. won't be so bad once I have it in front of me. :P

I've got a preorder in for the Max Factory version. Off the three it strikes me as the most "moe"

and the hair looks waay better than Alter's

i can't help but say that the more farther to the right the more Moe Mio is . Max Factory version is very Moe indeed but I'll think of having the Alter version as well ^_^ .

Would like to see this Figure comparison once again since its very handy on choosing which figure is the best .

I'm also spoilt for choice. Uplark's is difficult to find (i would have preferred her over Alter's as i prefer 1/8 scale, because i want her to join in my Haruhi Gekisou band!, but damn Max Factory make her 1/7!!)

I'm torn between the Alter and Max Factory versions. I prefer the look of Mio a bit more in the MF version but as I'm a guitarist I can't help but be bothered by the lower quality job they did in replicating her bass.

May not bug most people but its something I see every time I look at that figure. (Missing pickup pole pieces and strangely shaped headstock)

I pre-ordered max factory ritsu one too though that has very little detail compared to the mio one. and the alter yui (second shipment)
anyways.....the alter mio better have shimapantsu or Ill cry =(

I like alter azusa, great pose, great hair, neko mimi accessorie,good price, good base. her face is just a tad strange.
from the picture I think Alter yui looks really awlsome and can't wait for it to be re-released. but from other people's review, she appears to be wearing....black panties? o-o
lol nyways, from the wave 1/10 scale line up, the mio and yui looks really good and retails for a great price (3980yen), azusa and mugi looks decent too, however ritsu looked little bit wierd, they made her head a little bit too sharp. and nendoroids are cute too just short ritsu for my collection (missed last release) =(.
soon ill be spending four-digits on this serie alone lol....

I perfer 1/8* scale figures as that is what most my figures are, and it looks wierd when I display them together that the 1/7 is bigger.
