White Album - Daughters 5&6 and some DD loot
After months of waiting they are finally here! YAY!
Finally got my White Album DDs from Volks USA after being delayed for more than a month... but definitely worth the wait! They are quite lovely dolls.
I actually bought them because I really love their face sculpts and planned to eventually customize them like I did with my 4th daughter Maria/Vivio. For now I'll be keeping them in their regular outfits and default wigs and eyes. But stay tuned...^^
hadaka! lol. I'll probably take more pics of them with their default costumes and mics once I get my new camera at the end of the month. It will be fun practice.
DD loot! I just basically got the regular outfits for both characters. Also since I pre-ordered early I was able to get the swimsuit for both characters. They're pretty cute. I really loved Yuki's red jacket too.

I have a crappy point&shoot so I haven't been taking really any interesting pics of my daughters...I really enjoy the photo shoots a lot of the other figure.fm users have been doing, looks like fun..so we'll see. I can't wait to see more pics of your daughter as well. I love your Mio with the white wig!

Thank you! It should be fun customizing them..but since I almost suffered a heart attack when I opened up Maria/Vivio's head a couple of weeks ago..I'll wait for a bit and work up the courage..lol..
Hey, you've done it once, these next two should be a walk in the park. :) Agatha's head is relatively easy to open because she's got a notch cut in the back of her headcap for that very reason, but since DDs are vinyl you can use the hairdryer to soften up the head as well as the glue if you need to, and if you think you'll want to change their eyes often, then you can cut notches like shown about 3/4 of the way through this: http://site.volksusa.com/sumikatimes/2009/06/03/create-your-own-dollfie-dream-girl/ It really does help a ton.

Both are really great dolls...but actually when they first showed pics of them, I liked Rina better...but seeing them in person I'm beginning to like Yuki more....

Being a Yuki owner myself, I think they did an awesome job on her. Their pictures didn't do her justice. I'm just only sad that I didn't got Rina as well. She looks a lot different in owner pics than the company ones.

I'm still waiting for the person who I commissioned to finish it. During the summer, they got sidetrack with family vacation stuff. Hopefully it'll be done soon.

Yep; Danny and Figure.fm convinced me to adopt Yui, who was rather quickly followed by Asuka and Mari. Haruhi's next, methinks.
Congrats, Rina and Yuki are both awesome DDs! Yuki is simply brilliant, and Rina is not shabby either, you would be very pleased with your adoption.

They really are even better in person than in pictures -- once you get one you just start wanting others. It's like not being able to stop at one potato chip!

i originally was only going to get rina only, but i'm glad i just got both. my one regret this year was not going for alna tho, she kinda grew on me later when i saw more pics of her...

you got 1 out of the 2 rite.lol. i guess that wasn't too hard to guess. lol... but we'll see i'm still looking at other face sculpts, i do have the outfits and wigs all ready...it's just a matter choosing which head to customize and getting the rite kind of eyes.... i can't wait to see your nana tho!
