My DD Project Is Done!

Posted by SouthernBelleInCali [www]

So I have been wanting to do this for such a long time but never really got around to doing it until now. I have no wood experience at all. I'm just a girl with a wild imagination. I came up with a design (in a cardboard box) and the rest is history. It did however come out bigger than I had expected but that is ok. I had to read and research a lot before starting this. I am already planning to build another one because not all their clothes fit in this one. I also have a matching dresser in the works. I did cheat and get the wood cut at the home improvement store. I then brought everything home and stained it, which took almost 2 full days. This is my pride and joy. Hopefully the next one will be much better. Measurements are 58.42cm x 72.39cm x 35.56cm

Your shelf looks good and it's so funny to see the Dollfie clothes on it, also, everything very organized.

Be happy and proud, you should be.

Nice. Maybe you can install a mirror inside one of the doors so she can see herself while deciding what to wear for the day?

Congrats on the project, it looks great! You'd probably make a fortune if you started selling these. Such a good idea and you did really great. I'm surprised you have no experience as it turned out really well.

Can't wait to see the next one you do. :)

Whoa, that is so cool! The detail is exquisite. Your daughter has an incentive to fill it up. My guess is that she will want a mirror on the inside of the door, next.
