The open mouth on this custom one doesn't look quite natural somehow. And for being a custom, they didn't get very adventuresome with the eyelash detail like other customs do. :/ Guess I prefer the original, at least until there's been time for something more detailed and creative to come up.
I think, I prefer this one.
Admittedly, the open mouth kind of creeps me out. Especially this one, with how red it is and all.

I'll take the original head... with the DDDy body it comes it with.
Think the Volks original looks more innocent.
I like the eye and eyelashes paint a lot on this custom, looks well done. The mouth looks very well done too. It's not that easy to re-sculpt a doll head with epoxy and sanding to give the eyes, face, nose and mouth a whole new shape, this person is very good.
With it's heart shape open lips and red tongue peeking out, the mouth looks a bit too sexual for me to fit Sasara's character though. Maybe the person who made her was aiming to create a more mature looking Sasara. I would have preferred a sweeter and more innocent expression, with a cute closed lip smile. But to each their own preference. ^^

in fact,the design of volks`s sasara was very very lovely,i like it very much.
but i want make another sasara base my own comprehension.
and there are copyright problem if i make the head was similar to volks.
just as Chibichibiusa said, i want make a more mature looking....maybe it`s my style now
the work of sakura also base the style...the expression/looking of sakura`s face a little out of my mind... -___-b
i thought maybe i shound try to make head in different styles,to build my own ,if the yahoo free my oneoff works from copyright as usual.
of course,i want make orignal custom head either..

It was great work though, like chibichibiusa said. May be it has to do with the fact that I know Sasara too well to see her make an expression like that. The open mouth is a new twist, do you mean to have her in the middle of saying something?
well, sasara’s mouth always stay a point shape in CG it`s a classical expression on her face
in my opinion a sweet smile was rare looking of sasara ,so i want try to catch her face in the split-second
You're correct in the classical expression on her face.
Well a sweet smile is rare for Sasara, by her nature that is. More often than not, I have noticed Sasara giving a somewhat embarrassed/relief smile more than anything else.
en...i think you are right.
this kind of expression that i choose maybe more fit to make the character who was vivacious in daily time.

i‘ll do my best to make everyone in future...
during a month,i remake the whole face of tomoe about three times ,the times of changing details is countless ...T_T
to make a head is similar to original character is a hard work..i did my best at that time...
in fact,i haven't seen the photos of tomoe since end of that auction.
i am afraid of founding one or more detail can be made better...
maybe the habit of finding is a burden to me in psychology after the end of auctions...
Striving to be better, to be more detailed, is a good thing, though I wouldn't worry too much even if I found someone else had done a better job.
You've done a great one yourself, so be proud of your skills and the effort you put into it!
