New wigs for Manami
Along with all the other goodies I purchased for Manami at the Greensboro doll meetup, I also bought her some new wigs. After we left the Doll Market store, we headed to a place that made dolls as well as sold parts for them, including wigs. I was looking for a wig with a long braid in it but couldn't find anything I liked. In the meantime, Manami's mom and AsianEd decided to try on some other wigs while I was looking around. After seeing these on her, I was liking them but I was not sure I would buy them. After some pushing and shoving by Nicole and Ed, I was basically forced into buying them. XD But I think I did ok.....
All of these pictures were taken during the Volks Gangster outfit photo session. :^)
Here is Manami with her original wig that she came with from her mom.
This is the twin tails wig I purchased from Volks USA, along with this outfit and the headphones.
This is one of the new wigs I bought. It's a Monique Gold wig and is VERY soft. I think it actually makes Manami look even younger than the twintails wig does. That and it's cute and peppy!
Another angle with the Twin Pigtails. I like the yellow ribbons but will probably replace them with some pink ones soon to better accentuate Manami's eyes.
Now this wig was a complete surprise to me. I was across the room when I turned and noticed Ed taking pictures of Manami in this wig. I was like "What are you DOING?" ^_^ Ed stated he wanted to see what it looked like on a doll and his girls had on wig caps at the time and would be difficult to swap out. So he used Manami instead. He and Nicole refer to this as the "Cutey Honey" style wig.
I kind of agree that it does look like Cutey Honey with that little flip in the back. Now I need to have someone make me a Honey Flash! outfit and we will be set! ^o^
This is the picture Ed took with the Cutey Honey wig on Manami. Ed seems to have a talent for posing DD's. I really like how he got the cardigan falling off her shoulders as well as that little head tilt. It's a very cute picture.

They're all cute styles! Love the Cutey Honey look<3 But I'm partial to the Volks wig cuz of the shade, It's a really flattering color:) My Yukari's peach-cream wig really brings out her makeup, whereas her default wig kinda sucked the life out of her.
Heh, thanks. I also like the Twin Tails wig alot. But that Pigtailed one is a very, very close second for me.
Very cute!! Minami's spoiling knows no ends. haha Aside from her original wig that I'm so used to seeing her in I think I like the last one the best. It's a close tie between that last one and the twin tails one.
It's hard to say for sure because with that outfit it's hard to concentrate on things above her shoulders. :D

I'm sorry but it seems her Mom already has dibs on this wig if I ever get tired of it. She already tried to confiscate it from me at the Doll Market meetup.... XD And I am glad you like it!

I appreciate it! Yes, the Monique Gold wigs seem very well made and are super soft. They also fit very well. Manami is more than happy since she can now style herself to better fit her moods. :^)
Oh, LOVE the cutie-honey wig on her! She looks very sassy in it. I think the Volks twintail is my second fave, oddly enough.
Hee hee, I agree about looking sassy in the Cutey wig. She almost slips into Tsundere mode with it on.
I really think Agatha would look nice with that twintails wig, the color suits her and she could be even more devious and get away with it better using that twintails look. ^_^ Like you need that happening tho....

I'll have to say that of all her new wigs, I am thinking this is my fave as well. It's real close with the Short Pigtails tho, as I really like that one too.
