-Removing- sealant from Dollfie head?

I don't plan on leaving this post up for too long. Just need some quick advice.
Finally (finally!) got some ZM Finishing spray, and have been reading up in the Sumika Times blog on how to use it. But, if you spray too much or it sprays unevenly, how would you take off the sealant to fix it?
I e-mailed Volks USA about it but haven't gotten anything back yet XD and Google isn't being my friend with this one. Any sort of "home remedy" sort of thing would be great, lest I have to go out and buy something else just in case XD

may i ask where you got that?
The sealant? From the VolksUSA site: http://volksusa.com/zmfinishspray.html
From a hobby store, i got the Model Masters dried paint solvent. It removes the sealant and the face paint
I used Mr. Super Clear on Agatha instead of the Volks stuff, but the formula's pretty similar. When I screwed up her eyelashes (*cough* four times or so *cough cough*) I used rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball to remove the paint and the sealant. Worked like a charm, but make sure your alcohol is a relatively high concentration first--I have 91%, but some stores end up selling as low as 10%, which obviously wouldn't work as well.
I use this to remove sealant on any of my girls and it's perfectly fine. :)

Winsor & Newton Brush Cleaner mentionned above is very good and is sold at most art supplies stores. You can also use Acetone (you can find this easily in drug store in the nail polish remover section). Whichever product you use, make sure to quickly rinse your head with lots of water afterwards.
Acetone?! Are you sure? I have no idea but considering how agressive acetone can be on certain types of plastics, I wouldn't dare trying acetone on a DD.
Yup. I've tried it before, as long as you rinse with plenty of water right after there is no damage at all. It is used for resin dolls by many people. I wouldn't let a a resin or DD head "dip" in it all night though. ^^
I just use Mr. Super Clear, although from what I hear, Zoukeimura sprays can be layered on a little thicker, whereas MSC requires you to apply misting coats. Generally speaking though, you want to stick to misting coats with sparys anyway. But if you've applied the stuff too thick, I tend to use Mr Color thinner to remove sprays, paints, faceup, etc.
Make sure you check places like Angel's Den, etc as different solvents/products can react differently to various materials. I know Mr color thinner is safe, but not so sure about the other items suggested... if you can't find the information, then make sure to try the product on an inconspicious spot(inside of head cap, etc) and in small doses.
You definately don't want to ruin your doll...
