Opening K-on wave figures
Here are the wave figures I purchased months ago but never had a chance to open.
Though three of them (Yui,Mio, and Azusa) I missed pre-order and had to paid slightly price for them. IMO, they are well worth it. They retail for (3990yen) which is just a bit higher then half the price of the 1/6-1/8 figures (5440~8000) and wave figures generally captures how the characters appears in show and quite detailed. (these photos might be little lower quality, I dropped my Canon SLR and the lens cracked -.-; So these pictures are taken with just a regular sony 10.1mp dsc-n2. ( I wish they make the rest of the characters I want a Ui figure so bad) Tan-azusa I didn't buy because its practically the samething except darker skin. Ritsu one looks sorta wierd to me, but still I think its an awlsome price. However she dosen't seem to sell as well and Hobby Search just has it up for half off http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10105940

Great set! Coincidentally, the only Beach Queen I have so far IS the tanned Azusa! I kinda slept on these figures when they were first solicited and I'm kicking myself for it now. They're beautiful!
the plastic on Mugi should be removed ??
yeah, but I would need to take her towel skirt thingy off and I haven't figure out how to do that x)
some of the pieces like the hair are really fragile and Im afraid to snap them :(
Her body separates at the waist, just tug gently.
Wave has certainly improved their products over the last few years. Very nice Mugi! More evidence that she's quite busty so I don't feel so bad ordering a second Mio figma to exchange bodies with Mugi's.
