Saber - GET!
The first figure I have ever ordered has finally arrived!
Although I have bought many other figures in between, I was always waiting this Saber and now, after too many delays, here she finally is.
Now to share some pictures with you:

Saber, 2 Excaliburs, her base and the metal pin.
She comes with a manual on how to assemble her - that's a first for me, none of my other figures had that ^^
Of course I went straight for the Barrier of the Wind King version which looks really awesome, especially because the sword is transparent.
And her dynamic pose is just great!
She stands quite firmly on her base and the construction makes a solid impression - as long as you don't move her around or even shake her.

All in all I can say that I'm very pleased with this Saber and waiting for her all this time was really worth it!
Btw, this time my cellphone-camera pictures turned out quite OK, I guess the lighting was better than when I did my last post ^^

Watch out, this part is really easy to fell off.... i nearly lost mine lol
Yeah, I even thought about using some glue, but now that she has her spot on my shelf there's not much danger anymore. I also put the spare Excalibur back in the box, so that one's also safe ;)

your saber looks pretty good on the arms and face, some people had their saber's mouth covered by the left arm. An inconsistency problem i suppose?
It might be a perspective issue - right now I cannot see her mouth either, because she's standing a bit higher stand my sitting position - but if I move up a bit I can see it just fine.
If there's really that kind of inconsistency where her mouth is fully covered by the arm, then I think I'd send her back to get a proper version - even though you might have to wait a bit for the replacement.
Of course you cant see her mouth if the figure is higher than you. ^; i mean when the figure is placed at the same level as your eyes.

But you only really notice it if you stare at the figure for about 20 minutes straight like I did xD

This photo really wow'd me. Her expression is brilliant and the pose... tis an awesome looking figure.
This Saber set me back 3340 yen in shipping. That being said, I'm surprised there hasn't been a bootleg version of her yet.

i think this is a nice version but golden caliburn is much prettier :)
tbh. i think caliburn is the worst of the 3 so far. with distant avalon being first.
Still I'm worried about the quality issues with saber...ESP SINCE THEY DELAYED HER.
and i sense a lean in it's future >.<

sorry man caliburn is still the weakest. for me caliburn's face and pose didn't really suit the pose =/ and it looked kinda weird in the press shots.
Distant avalon and Excalibur both have better poses and facial expressions for me ^^;;; not to mention the saber in my mind has a face liek this. ^^^;;; don;t get me wrong though caliburn is a beauty in it's own way ^^;;
I like this version better since it's closer to the original Saber concept.
To me theres too much interpretation in Golden Caliburn and the face looks a lot less like Saber and more feminine (just compare her face with a few VN CGs).
Don't get me wrong, it's still a very nice figure, but to me it's better if the figure is true to the original character.
I see that your Akiha has arrived safely. Glad to know that!
After seeing to many pictures of this Saber, it is kind of tempting.. I'll wait for a possible reissue of Distant Avalon, though. Both are wonderfully made, but she seems nicer to me, I don't know.
