My First Nendoroid Shana

Posted by skan [www]

So just recieved my first Nendoroid in mail today. I ordered her from Mandarake english site.

Shakugan no Shana II Enpatsu Ver.

Really love the colour of her hair ~!!
and her faces are so cute. Especially the (> A <) face!

Right as soon as I open her I already had an episode...I lost Alastor ;A ; (the pendant)
Luckily I had my brother to help me find him, we soon found him later. He is safe around Shana's neck now.

I can see why people get so hooked collecting these. They are incredibly cute, compact and they are pretty reasonably priced ~
I have a Len and Ciel/Sebby on thier way. will post them too.

        yeh it sure is hey, but at least you get your package tracked and safely to you. I feel sorry for those who have their packages damaged in some sort of way.

    May I ask how much yen was she?
    As well (or more importantly) how much was the EMS shipping for the single nendoroid?
    I was contemplating on buying from Mandrake too...

      She was 4,000Yen and EMS was 2,040Yen but I also bought a small novel so shipping was slightly more I guess?

      Mandarake is pretty good though there wasn't much protection for shana just the bubble wrap (thick) and some news paper otherwise good. 'v '

        They are all expensive if you think closely xD
        I spent over $1k on these kinds of stuff and doing 1k more between the next four months x)
        think of all the food I can buy with $2000. but then think differently that my new car depreciated $9000 in a year which is like money vanishing. so :P IMO its worth it at any price that the person is willing to pay :P
        btw thanks for telling me which site that was, I just ordered a nendoroid for 6000yen that I couldn't find else where. can you tell me what payment method you paid with? it dosen't allow paypal with SAL shipping (I assume you did paypal with EMS) but my item is kinda heavy and would be like 3k+yen to ship o_o

          true, true ~ haha
          Thats alot ! but i have probably spent around the same ;A ;
          no problem ~!
          yup your right I used paypal(credit card) for EMS.
          but I am sure if you have a credit card to just use it for SAL shipping.
          yeah SAL has size restriction and I think EMS gets more expensive by wieght. idk mail is confusing orz;; I always play it safe and shell out the cash for EMS I have seen too many SAL horror stories even though I probably can't afford it lol x A x;;;;

            in my experience with both EMS and SAL, I realized that 1. they are packed the exact same way. (with my experiences so far) 2. although SAL takes an extra week...its not like I haven't been waiting for it for months already 3. the size restriction is 90cm wlh which is quite big (can fit 2-3figures) 4.Im going to hate you for posting this xD I just made total of 12800yen in purchase (not including shipping) (that I wouldn't have) on that site xD. They got some great deals.

              and what I dislike about EMS the most is that I need to sign for the package. and with university/work, Im home late most of the time thus miss mail delivery

                ouu I only used SAl for small stuff I order from JBOX but I notice thier EMS packaging doesn't differ so your right lol;;
                I'm too impatient to wait for SAL ;A ;
                Don't shoot the messenger !! lol > v <
                Uaa yeah that is annoying missing hte mailman but it's safe for me since I have to share my mailbox with nieghbours it's easier to just get the ticket they leave if your gone and go pick up the parcel on your own time. ; v ;

    most of my SAL package comes in a week and half (except one came in 32days o_o) while EMS comes in 3-4days + one day for miss delivery. and my mailbox is private and locked so its all good :P
    The most patient wait I ever had was I choose "ground" shipping xD it took exactly 84days xD but that box of items weights about....oh 15kg or so.... xD

        I've gotten Singapore airmail in 10days
        japan SAL in 7days
        hong kong air mail in 7day
        Taiwan DHL in 2days (I was surprised, ordered some mangas on friday night and it camed tuesday)
        Japan EMS in 3days (only did this 3 times due to the cost)
        when that box arrived, I actually forgot about getting that xD
        my fastest domestic service was UPS next day air though :P its so fun to order today and seeing it come tommorow :P (though the shipping was a killer at $33 for a letter sized package)

    I ordered the Neko Arc Ultimate Edition nendo from Mandarake Global on Friday night and it arrived Monday noon. It was DHL shipping for 1000 yen...I'm wondering if it was really cheaper than EMS as they mentioned during the checkout process...

      Woah 1000Y shipping thats good
      Thats pretty cheap I think might be wrong. Wish I would've use DHL but I was scared to since courier service always charge me extra when they get here ; A ; with EMS I just pay the once and wait for it to come in no hidden fees, plus I think EMS gets by customs quicker for my country not sure.... lol
