Surgery Successful!
I realized I forgot to post the solution to Sasara's problem I posted about a while back.

After my poor girl was in this state for almost two months, I got desperate for a cure and emailed Volks USA about it. And I should have done it from the start because they were wonderful! They gave me instructions for how to put her back together. Here's what they wrote, I'm posting it here so it can help any other dollfie parents whose daughter this might happen to:
Dear ___,
Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter.
We are sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your
Sasara!
Unfortunately sometimes the skeleton can become loose, especially
if you pose and play with your doll often. We are glad to know that
you were able to fix her.
For the legs to be put back together it is a bit tricky.
On the picture we sent back to you we edited it and added a small
red circle around one of the joints. If you pull this joint you should
be able to take it apart there to have two leg pieces. The bottom
piece should have a peg and the top should have a tube.
Slide the thigh onto the top piece and into place on her body. You
will not be able to see the tube.
Replace the lower leg onto the lower leg piece.
Now, you will need to put the peg of the lower piece into the tube
on the upper piece. Unfortunately, as we mentioned this will be
difficult as you will not really be able to see what you are doing.
Please be aware that it may take some time. It is not an easy task.
We hope that this was helpful for you. Please let us know if you have
any questions.
Sincerely,
VOLKS USA Web Service Center

blah blah blah
This was the photo I sent them, and they marked it with a circle to show what they meant. I never would have guessed it came apart there! Volks USA customer service rocks! ^_^

It wasn't easy to get the two pieces of the inner thigh back together once the outer thigh was obscuring my vision, but with some patience I was able to do it!

Here she is after being put back together, hooray! ^_^

glad to hear shes back and alive (・∀・) !
Yey! And Phew XD
That's great!
Dollieh hacking can be unnerving at times. Z went to pieces while I was up in Carpinteria, so I had to put him back together. The "spine," for want of a better word, came off at the "pelvis" and so I had to take the "pelvis" piece out of his abdomen, put that back together, and then put the reconnected internal pieces back into the abdominal vinyl piece. The legs slipped back on at the "hips" and everything was fine after that. It was nervous time but I did it. Z's fine now. Z's an Obitsu, and Obitsu is more open to user repairs and user hacks than Volks has been in the past. Then again, I know most of the VolksUSA people, and they are happy to help when there is a need for advice or instructions. And there are indications that with the new DD Sister Dollfie Dream will have more customization options, which suggests perhaps they are becoming more open to user repairs and mods.
YEA!!!! It's good to hear that Sasara is back in action!
