Finally! My First Daughter!!!
She has finally arrived. After years of restraining myself from getting one, my resolve was finally broken when Azone revealed that Loli Fate, one of my all time favorite Magical Girl characters (alongside Sakura) was going to be released as a 1/3 scale doll. (^o^)
One of the reasons that actually kept me from getting one of these large scale dolls for so long is probably their cost. I had to sadly pass up on many a Volks dollfie like Rin and Yui. But seriously, when Loli Fate came along, I couldn't resist. Let me just caution would be adopters that their price is no laughing matter. As a matter of fact, to afford her, I had to sacrifice a good number of months of pay from my part-time job. I do hope she's worth it.

The main body utilizes a 1/3 scale 48 cm Obitsu body. Doll aficianandos might immediately recognize that she's pretty short for a 1/3 scale doll. However, that's to be expected, considering that she's supposed to be only 9 years old.
Another thing that some might have noticed, is that unlike Volk's dollfies, she does not have actual removable eyes, but painted on eyes. Some might consider this a pretty serious strike against the doll, but personally, I actually prefer painted eyes as they look more accurate and I'm really not interested in customizing them.
Speaking of Bardiche, I was simply blown away at the size and level of detail that was put into it. Not to mention, the entire shaft was one thick metal rod that weighed a ton.

I haven't really had time to pose her properly, nor the space to display her once posed. Here is a quick snapshot of Fate after putting on most of her accessories (sans her Cape and Bardiche). She looks absolutely adorable.
I do hope to get some custom clothes made for her, but I'm pretty low on funds now, so that would probably take awhile. (^.^;)

For Doll/Dollfie owners, I have a question regarding her wig. Does it look like her right pony tail is somewhat off? It seems to be tied more loosely than the one on the left. I was wondering if was caused by me handling the wig wrongly or if it is just a natural factory inconsistency thing. Also, any tips on caring for her hair? It's the only part on Fate that I'm constantly worrying about as I fear that her hair will come apart at any given moment. (^.^;)

I welcome you officially to the dark side! The 1/3 girls just blow Figmas and 1/6 scale dolls out of the water, don't they? Man, just wait until you get a chance to take her outside for a photoshoot; it's so much fun.
I'm personally not a fan of painted eyes, but I'l admit that Fate's are definitely better than most other Azone efforts. (Oftentimes they look like they're too far apart and distorted, at least to me.) And that Bardiche is epic; makes me wish Volks had done a better job on adult Fate's stuff.
As for the wig, it's hard to call with just the one back shot, but it looks fine to me. When combing her hair, start by combing the ends out, then slowly working your way closer to the roots. On the pigtailed portions, do *not* try to comb the tied portion close to her her head. If they constructed it properly, these should actually be glued into place under the ribbons, and will be a royal pain in the ass to put back. Use a little bit of warm water to help flyaway strands back into place (a cheap spray bottle is great for this), and always use either a comb or a soft toothbrush on her hair rather than a regular hairbrush. Yes, I know this all sounds complicated, but basically, you just have to remember that wigs are not real hair, so don't treat them that way, and you should be fine.
Congrats on your first daughter Actar!!! I am truly surprised that the Bardiche that came with your fate is so much better and bigger than the one from Volks. You said that the one from volks doesn't fit? is it because it's too small and that it'll slip when equipped? Maybe you can try to use a volks gripping hand which I'm not even sure if it will fit with the obitsu model that you have, but I'm hoping that it'll work out.
I'm fairly certain Obitsu has separate hands, actually--if they do, they should be available at Parabox or Junky Spot, the two major custom-bait Obitsu retailers. What's got me a bit leery is that she shipped not only with the glove hands, but a sort of glove cuff already attached to her wrist. I can't tell from Actar's photos and video whether those cuffs come off, and even if they do, it might still require trotting out the benzoyl peroxide, since something that dark that close to her skin is probably a staining risk. -_-

Yes they can, and the match is passably decent, especially if you're clever with blushing the head. However, do be aware that Volks normal is actually closest to Obitsu's white skin tone-- I guess you could say Obitsus just kind of run darker than Volks. If you look for "Dollfie Dream Obitsu hybrid" on Den of Angels or Google you should be able to find more detailed information.

Doll Wigs will never be exactly the same as sample pictures, there's always a bit of variation since part of the process in making them is most likely handmade ^^. My best advise to keep her wig looking nice is to not touch it as much as possible (especially the tied portion close to her head). The more you touch it the more there's chance to get hair out of place, especially the twin tail type like Fate, if hair gets accidentally pulled out from her tails, you might have to undo and redo the tail. Trust me, it's almost impossible to redo the tail as nicely as the manufacturer, without any bumps. So avoid all contact as much as possible. If you must comb her tails, hold the top of the tail tightly a comb slowly from the bottom working your way up very slowing to avoid pulling the hair and create bumps or accitentally undo the tail. You can use doll hair product or human hair product to keep the hair smooth and shiny (if using human hair product, do a test in a small hidden spot first just in case)
Oh and Fate has dark clothes, if you are worried about staining, I would recommend getting a body suit to wear underneath or at least put a few layers of food plastic wrap.

Thanks so much for the advice! I'm pretty afraid of handling her too much due to her hair. In fact, after a couple of days, there seem to be more stray hairs popping out of the top of her head and I'm getting kinda nervous. (^.^;) Is it possible to fix these loose hairs if it gets too bad? Also, how do people actually bring their daughters all over the place while keeping their hair secure?
If there is just a bit of stray hair, you can use gel type products like Volks water wax or human hair gel (test in small spot first) to smooth them down. If you plan to play a lot with her, you might want to get her another backup wig like a simple straight hair not tied up wig which are really easy to maintain.
When carrying her in a bag or doll case, due to her "high maintenance" twin tail style wig I suggest removing her wig and carefully place it in the hair net, box and plastic bag it came in. Then when you arrive at your doll meet or whatever, take her out and carefully put her wig back on.

I've just finished watching your video. I think the best place you can buy regular hands from is from Parabox. You have the normal hand type and the set of 2 extra hand pairs . http://www.parabox.jp/eng/50_parts.html
Parabox also sells body replacement parts in case of damage. Just look under Obitsu 50 body, it is the same body as your loli Fate. The advantage of Obitsu body is that all parts are sold individually and the prices tends to be more reasonable that Volks few option parts.
