[Illustration] Fullmetal Alchemist - Our Promise

The promise to get back each other's body.
The promise to not lose any more loved ones.

After procrastinating, watching anime, taking photos, slacking off, going Aikido lessons.
I finally finish this in the span of 1.5 months on and off!

Hope you guys enjoy this homage I did for FMA: Brotherhood! What an awesome story!

I've posted a somehow lengthy write up on my thoughts and work-in-progress on this illustration in my blog

Also, if you are a user of DeviantArt, how about supporting this piece of work there as well?

Very awesome work! I really agree with what the emotional ride while making an image. You start off with an idea you enjoy, then after a lot of time you begin to second guess a lot of what you did, but in the end it all comes together.

Although I have to ask, do you go back to your older pictures and fix anything you don't like or just leave them be and work on something new?

I prefer to work on something new as what's done has been done.

I've learnt enough from it and moving on would be a more practical move in my opinion.

      How about you?

I've only ever gone back to one image after many months ( maybe a year) but otherwise I just make something new. It's refreshing to start with a clean slate.
