Al the Bootlegged Nendo

Today, let’s talk about bootlegs.

A friend of mine managed to grab this one *very* cheap, so it’s not a waste of money.
It’s more interesting to look at all the flaws.
Though he had high hopes that it was legit, I pointed out all the wrong things while we were eating at McDonalds.
So sorry, the box opened once already.
But that doesn’t hurt much for this little article.

You can read about all the details over at my site.
(Oh, and don't worry. Azusa and Lily are real)

bootleg nendos are very easy to recgonize
1. box always comes damaged (the price is cheap enough that the seller don't put it in any kinds of protection.
2. The face looks so shiny like the nendo just came back from a beauty salon.
3. lacks the sticker
4. commercial sellers can't afford to sell you nendos for $20 shipped.
but from far far away in photoshoot, it looks real xD
Buying bootleg without knowing is pretty much getting scammed. Even if the price wasn't high I wouldn't call that "not a waste of money" IMO
Not getting scammed, really.
It was up for 2 Euro (3-4 with shipping iirc) and Bootleg alarms were ringing everywhere in my head just from that (She goes for what.. 80 on Ebay?).
Told him to buy it for me anyways (Beats the Scalper price on Ebay for a legit) so I could check out the quality of Nendo bootlegs for myself.
He still hoped it was a legit one so he could buy another and profit off it, heh.
The flaws are pretty spot-on from what I read on the Net.
This one is obviously not among the "good-quality" bootlegs, but it was an interesting experience to compare everything.
Think I'll keep Al sitting on a shelf, since the stand + leg joints aren't doing a great job at.. Preventing her from falling over.
Bootleg figures are always fun to have if you're able to get your hands on them for a cheap price.

Haha, yeah.
Sader's actually turned into a desired figure for some people due the attention she got.
Sader has internet fame, but bootleg in general, I rather not support it, even if it would cost me 50 cents.
I also got this botleg. You can see it on my photo. Now when i know i wont buy more of this.
O_O;
Wow!
This one is really a ugly one...
Mine somehow is better... ._.;;;

During one convention, I saw 2-3 booths selling bootlegs. >.<
They had Nendo Azunyan for about 7 dollars only! ^^;
and Alter Azunyan for 20 dollars.
Of course, I didn't get any of them,
even though they're a LOT cheaper, it's still better to have the original.
I lol'd at FREE MONIES PLX
XD
