The New 2010 International Saimoe Queen

After a month of intense rivalry between the lovely contenders for the title, we have crowed a new queen!
The new queen, Akiyama Mio is presented the "Heavenly Tiara" by ISML, after receiving 7175 votes against 5186 votes from Misaka Mikoto.
Actually knew she would win, so just to prove a few friends of mine wrong, I voted Mikoto out of pity =P
There, there Misaka, you're getting aired next week. It's okay =)
And to enforce her ruling, her Majesty announces the wearing of neko-mimi garmets , shall be compulsory from this day on! xD
What can I say, the better character won!
It was so unfair that Azusa went up against Mio earliar on, them two should of been the final :(
The greater injustice was Mio v Yui in round 1 :(.

That's true... But then again, after that heavenly 50-minute movie of pure Moeness [care of Azusa and Mio] AND PURE AWESOMENESS [care of my beloved Mugi-chan], it officially ends. So sad! TT___TT
I always LOVED Mio Akiyama. Now that she's this year's Saimoe queen I feel happier than ever!
All the hard work (voting) has paid off XD I only wish the final match had been Mio vs. Azusa.

Kanade should've been queen .__. She's more moe than Mio (Not that much of a Mio fan. All of Mio's fan service moments were thanks to Ricchan and Sawa-chan, so both deserve the credit).
I didn't follow the tournament as closely as I would have wanted to, but hey, the people have spoken. Though I found it odd since in the second season Azusa's popularity sky-rocketed, and I would have thought that she would have survived a little farther.. but I guess you can't compete with the shy, left-handed Bassist.
Azusa lost to shana by 1xx votes which is a close match~ and she ends up getting 4th~
we all pretty much know mio was going to win with the timing and everything and she did by 2000 votes
I remember that Azusa beat Mio in the Japanese Sai moe contest. And I think she also beat Misaka...
she did however that tournament/contest has much fewer votes (about 1/3) of ISML causing the results to be somewhat inaccurate. but Azunyan did win by 26 and looks like they were going very close near the end :P
I wanted misaka to win...
oh well, mio is lovely too <3
With Mio won the ISML, I hope she will win both Anime Saimoe and Best Moe this year as well!
