Ever had German pancakes? These are German pancakes and are also known as Dutch babies. They fluff up really huge and then deflate! Here I put the batter in a muffin tin for individual pieces, squeezed lemon on, and dusted them with powdered sugar. There are also fresh strawberries, pineapples, and blueberries. A yummy breakfast that is good on a relaxing lazy weekend. Konata looks ready to dig in and start the weekend, Are you?

If I had a breakfast like that today I definitely would have been ready for the weekend!
Why is it that whenever I find a term with "Dutch" in it it's being used in some strange way that doesn't seem to have much of a relation to the thing it's referring to? ^^; At least at first glance, anyway. "Going Dutch"..."Dutch oven"...
(Hope I haven't offended anyone, by the way. Not trying to make fun of the Netherlands.)
