Dead Rising 2
So after playing the first game I wanted the sequel to be BIGGER and better then the awesomesauce of the first one. Now since this game has only been out for a week I won't have any spoilers in this review, I myself have only completed one run through and am currently on overtime which is weird but good at the same time.
So most of the issue's from the first game have been addressed, even the save system has been updated but is still lacking something (auto save). Chuck handles well and his movements feel lighter then Franks but he doesn't have Franks awesome grappling moves. To say that there was a lot of weapons in the last game was a fair statement but to say that in this game is a understatement. Mixed in with all the weapons from the first and new weapons (spears, tomahawks, Bows, etc) are the series first combo weapons. Now these combo weapons are extremely effective and powerful, as well as being awesome to witness some of the gruesome fatalities that these weapons produce. Vehicles handle better in this game and the inclusion of customizable motocross bikes is a good and fun side trip to take. The A.I on the zombies is good, mob mentality is in top form and they pounce unexpectedly when you are not ready. The Survivor A.I is better then the first and they can be quite enjoyable to kill zombies with. The psychopath A.I is by far the strongest in the game, these guys serve as mini boss' and can provide quite a challenge. Now a lot of people have complained that the time limit is not fair it hinders exploring and it is useless and stuff like that. I say nay, I like the time limit it gives a sense of dread especially if your trying for the A or S endings. This game is meant to be played multiple times to achieve every ending possible. Co-op was fun when I was able to play with some people, but I found it hard to find anybody online who would let me join their game. Multiplayer is fun and being able to cash out the money you win into your single player account is great and it helps when you have to buy Zombrex (its freakin expensive). In conclusion this is a must buy for fans of the first and fans of any Zombie game or movie.

After writing this review I have beaten the game multiple times and I enjoy each run through, especially the co-op.
I have a longer review that I will post later on, in that on I go into greater detail about the game. Now I'm waiting so people can play and complete the game themselves. That one has spoilers rampant throughout so here's a heads up.
TBH, lol a lot of people on this website aren't really interested in games like these you know what I mean but also if your a real fan of the game like I am, you have beat the game plenty of times by now....XD The game is really fun but people can mess it up for you in co-op also the AI is ALOT better ^_^ I liked the first one but this one is alot better, can't wait for Code West to come out~

Gotta say i agree with most of it, the only thing that annoys me has actually got to be the combo weapons. In the first game the grapple moves used to save my @$$ multiple times, and now theyve got rid of most of them for the combo weapons... of which i only really use three, because the parts are either too hard to find or have very little actual use. Other than that i think its a pretty epic game.
I completed it last night (S Ending). I really enjoyed it. They've definitely improved on the original. I had a great time making the custom weapons (and using them, of course >:D). While the timer can still be a pain from time to time, I felt I was given enough free time between most missions. All in all, a great game.
Can't wait for Case West. ^_^
All I have to say is I miss the taking pictures aspect that the first one had. I wish they allowed you to find a camera so you can do it if you wanted to but all in all it's a great game and it brings back old memories of beating zombies to death with almost anything you can find as well as the custom weapons thing which keeps me from completing the main storyXD.
yea dead rising 2 is really an enjoyable game but rating it 4.5 out of 5 kinda too high for me, I'll go with 4 out of 5
but compare to the dead rising 1, dead rising 2 feels kinda easy, maybe because it doesn't have variety of enemies like the suicide bombers in the first game that always make me game over T__T
and the psychopath difficulties also quite easy compare to the first, maybe thx to the custom weapon system and mixer is almost everywhere make it easy to get a strong healing item
to make it better or worse saving survivor is kinda cake......just bring a shotgun and give it to the survivors and they can survive alone, even help you kill psychopaths
time limit is better arranged, first its kinda annoying that as chuck you have to search for key items several times or else you get to straight bad ending, but after I finish it with S ending, even on the first try I manage to save 40/50 survivors compare to the first dead rising where I can only manage to save more less half of the survivors (most of them dead rammed by the damn jeep) <___<
overall its a really good game, glad they not make it for several consoles (especially PC yay!). And how can you not love with all you can bash zombies?

But alread in late Day 2 in this one... Zombie hunting is fun...
Those psychopaths really proves to be a challenge... Personally had a tough time with the chainsaw massacre groom... ^^; He's fast!

The light saber is the best for taking out psychopaths and its pretty easy to make.
Using a "trainer" to specifically freeze the game time. In all seriousness I'm in it for killing the zombies, restricting the time is just.. =w=

I have to say, I am enjoying this game far more than it's original. The Time issue is not as bad as people saying. It's far more improved than the first Dead Rising, that's for sure! The Psychopaths are giving me major issues, though. So hard to kill... T_T
Also... I got the Zombrex Edition of the game... The packaging for this version of Dead Rising is just mind blowing!
