Aug & Sep Loots

Posted by Mim

Its been a while since I've posted and I've made a few purchases in the last couple of months. Here are some of the more recent ones that are still at home. I have some Figma's like Black Rock Shooter, but they are on my desk at work now :D

I'm a big fan of Asobi Ni Ikuyo so have started to make a few related purchases like this neat, but tiny, 3d mouse mat. Everything outside Erin's pic has a funky hologram effect. To aid in my language studies I collect manga based on shows I've watched so aside from being in furigana (hirogana / katakana written next to the Kanji) there is also a sense of familiarity in that I recognise some of the chapters from being animated.

Ever since watching the tiny HoiHoi-San anime I've been a fan so I've collected all the model kits so far and pre-order any that come along. I also have the manga but its not in Furigana so I'm saving that for later when I'm better at my Kanji ^^"

One of these day's I'll even pull my finger out and build the kits. Pest X San and her mecha bike are the coolest in the set of action models released so far imo.

I'm starting to get pretty close to 100 of the regular size nendo's. It can be eye watering when I think about how much some can be if you want a special that can only be bought on e-bay, but I've been lucky with this lot all being regular pre-orders.

My collection if PVC's is really tiny by choice as they can be really expensive so I am really picky. That being said there comes along some really exceptional ones like this Rei by Yamato that I simply could not resist and I also have Auska on order along with some other Yamato figs coming out soon.

I'm not too familiar with the character that this Yamato sculpt was based on, from my understanding its from an H-Game. All I know is that when I had a flick through AmiAmi's pages I found it going for around 46% off and given its pure awesome look (and the exceptionally strong Aussie dollar) I hit the order button.

Actually the only one I'm really looking for as a good Kos mos one. My prayers may have been answered with the figma coming, but I'm still interested in a PvC.

To be honest I'm not a big model person so what sold me is they are pre-painted, action figures, roughly the size of a regular nendo and only require minimal assembly.

They are also 1:1 scale so are a great reproduction of what it would be like to have your very own insect exterminating robot only trying to exterminate each other instead!

Price wise they are also relatively quite affordable so all round its a pretty win scenario and if you are not sure where to start I'd get Pest X San and her bike. Check out what they both look like on as site like AmiAmi for instance...

Note these kitas are not fully prepainted so for example her weapons are all on a simple greay sprew, hence why I will build mine a little later when I have time to paint them also, but then that can be done after assemply. You can even snap them together without glue from what I've seen some do and pull it appart later for painting.

Ah the joy's of having no spell checker in the browser or any office type product installed on my machine. Sigh.
