Fortune Arterial TV Anime 赤い約束 First Impression
I have made no secret in the past that I will be watching Fortune Arterial TV Anime in the fall season, and since I found out not long ago that Crunchyroll will be simulcasting this have definitely made my day! I have been waiting for this day to come ever since I found out about it and now that I have watched the first episode, I am happy to report that it has definitely met my expectation, both in terms of the animation quality, faithfulness to the storyline and for Crunchyroll to bring us this top quality anime to our living room nearly simultaneously as it was being broadcast in Japan!

I have never used Crunchyroll before but that simply cannot deter me away from wanting to watch it at the first available opportunity! For $4.99 a month I signed up for a 12 months membership the first minute I got home from work, which was only a few hours behind the first showing in Japan! And my first experience with Crunchyroll simulcast has been generally good, there were a few minor hiccup during the stream within a fraction of a second but it was only barely noticeable, the subtitle quality is generally good too.
Since I don’t want to spoil the story for everyone who is eagerly waiting to watch it themselves, I will just share a couple of screen shots here~
There is a lot of ground to cover, and I do feel the pace of the story is moving rather quick for those of you who are not already familiar with the storyline ._.; But I would rather they do that than to rip the storyline apart and replace the script with something else in place like what they did with Brighter than Dawning Blue TV Anime adaption.
Erika has such a brilliant smile and it’s really her trademark~
And I am so glad they kept the bathroom scene XD~ One of the more humorous scenes in game, but it helps set the tone of all the characters involved in the story! Please feel free to stop by my blog for full coverage and more screen shots~
While it was slightly unfortunate that Kiriha didn’t get to debut in the first episode, but that was quickly compensated by this super hot illustration of Kiriha in a semi-transparent semi-wet slip @.@;

Anyway, since the girls found out I subscribed to Crunchyroll, they just had to line up in front of the TV to watch too!
I am happy to say that I am very satisfied with episode one so far, and I will be paying close attention to this as it develop further!

That's a great deal considering the amount of content you get, and what DVD/Blu-rays cost...
it is alot cheaper yeah~
but most of the time I don't have internet connection and want to watch/rewatch an episode of something~
so, just like most people, take advantage of the internet but I buy the Taiwan licensed version of dvd when it comes out~
im too cheap to buy digital service :P
if its not tangible goods, I don't get it if I can help it~

just watched chinese sub by sumisora, I have no idea at all what the anime is about, just watching because of cute character design, though the last scene caught me by surprise o_o I like to watch light, non-violent anime and I don't think this is going to be one xD

Thanks for the announcement. I didn't even know Fortune Arterial was being made into an anime. I'll have to check it out for sure. ^_^
