Koto Yoko

Posted by super rats [www]

I finally have a Yoko. Even though the face is different from what we saw of the prototype model, I still like the figure. Both faces have their appeal. I thought I'd like the wink one more, but I think I'm leaning toward the other face. The figure was very clean, with only a couple of manufacturing artifacts that I could see.

There's about four or five more shots of Yoko on my blog if you want more images. I wonder if it's better to just put one or two up and link to the blog or if posting them all here is more convenient for viewers?

This is one of Kotobukiya's more expensive figures. If I didn't already have 2 Yoko figures, I would definitely have gotten this one. The detailed gun is simply marvelous.

Wonderful shoot as usual! I really liked the shot of yoko's back, just lovely.

I say at least 3 shots would be enough and then head over to the blog...

It is. Lighting tends to love that area as well as the curves tend to be broad and gentle, letting shadows lighten in a pleasing way.

Posting a couple of teasers if fine and sending folks to your blog for the rest is good. Want as many people as possible to discover blogs of users.

Sorta bugs me that you can't discern individual vertebrae in her back, but I think if I haven't nitpicked her flat-ish nose, then I might as well leave that bit of detail alone too. ^^; Everything else is too gorgeous to notice anything else that isn't right. :P
