Hang in there. I've been going once a year for the last 4 years and it just gets better and better. Last time, I spent 3 weeks in Japan and finally got to go to Kyoto and Osaka. It was the trip of a lifetime!

Tokyo is my fave as well. When I step off the plane, I always say "Tadaima!" because it feels like home to me too. How is it you are going to stay 6 months?

Ah, a student visa. What school? I was at the local Japan embassy here in Miami today inquiring about visas for Japan and it was kind of disappointing.
I will go without a student visa :) I will study 3 month's will go to Korea..and come back and study for another 3 month's :) I think I will go to a school in Takadanobaba (yoshida.com), but I'm not sure yet :)
Good idea! How long do you have to stay in Korea?
I don't know how long I will stay.. It depends on when the second school term begins :) But they will give your tourist visa even when you are only 1 or 2 days in Korea :) The Japanese embassy gave me this advice :p
Your embassy helped more than mine. LOL. Only problem I can see is working while in Japan as you're not allowed to on a tourist visa. You can work part time on a student visa though.
I know :) But I think I would be to busy If I work too.. School is about 4 hours a day, and everyday you get 4hours homework with you :) 5 days a week. So I'm ok with that:)
Wow, guess you better save up all the money before you go over. That's what I'm thinking of doing.

This will sound a bit weird, but I thought I saw you in the Liberty 7 store in Akihabara when I was there. I was in the used figure section and we kept walking past each other. I couldn't figure out why I recognized you until I saw this post today.
