Sakura's new winter clothes.
Back in September Danny posted some pics where his Saber was wearing a really cool looking jacket - she just looked adorable all bundled up:

A few weeks ago I found out that the same outfit was in stock at Volks USA and had to snag one for my Sakura. It came in today along with a new pair of hands for Sakura and some wig oil spray and wig mist. Sakura seemed very happy to be getting new clothes again - too bad I live in Florida where she won't get many chances to use it. :(
It looks like I'll have a chance to brush up my sewing skills (very poor skills they are) as her pants really need to be hemmed:
I worried that the pants might be a little tight but I had the other problem. I'll need to do some research on how to take these in so they are a little more snug on her. In the picture below the pants were buttoned up and there was still that much room left.
As soon as she saw the jacket she said she wanted to go snow skiing now that she had the clothes.... I hope she won't be too disappointed with the Florida winter. I've lived here for 37 years and I've seen it snow twice, once almost enough to make a small snow ball. Maybe that's enough for DD snow skiing.

Along with Sakura's new clothes I got another today. A new Ipod Touch.
Sakura seems to think that everything that gets delivered to the house is hers... I hope she's not too upset when I take it to work with me in the morning. She spent most of the day playing "Angry Birds" while I've been trying to organize my MP3 collection a little better.

Thanks Konshinryu - I can't take the credit though, the set (shirt, pants, and jacket) came from volks so they put it together. I think it works well together.

Yes, she loves dressing up. She's back in her pajamas now as those clothes were way too dark for me to feel comfortable leaving her in them for long.

Thanks - Yea, Angry Birds is starting to cause me to loose sleep. Went to bed around 1am but played it till about 2:30!! Had some very strange dreams.

Oh that set looks awesome! I even think it being a little baggy is fine, it at least makes her look comfy in it. But your idea of a belt may be a cool way to make them sit better on her waist.
And yes, that jacket rules. That is just great looking on her!
I so know how you feel with packages getting to you! *Anything* that comes in my house is open game for my girls. If it's not a padded envelope or box, they want nothing to do with it but anything beyond a regular envelope gets rushed by them. Even my magazines get read by them before I get a chance to see them. I just hope I can intercept the Playboy mags when they arrive... ^_^
Thanks... Thankfully the shirt goes over the waist of the pants so you don't really see how big they are on her. I'm pretty sure I can handle the hemming the length so they aren't so long but I'm not sure about the waist.
When you mentioned the Playboy mags I had an image of you coming home to find Rei looking through one and saying "Meh, she's not that hot!" - It seems to fit her personality. :D
It will be neat to see the hemming job when you're done!
Oh my, I laughed so hard when I read the above about Rei! I can soooo see her doing that! I had actually pictured Yoko hiding her face while Manami tried out various poses on the couch. ^_^ I may have to let them get ahold of one just to see what they *will* do.... LOL
