MDD Shana - my first MDD

Hello everybody! This is my first post in Figure.fm.
After A-zone have released 50cm Shana outfit in WF2009, I tempted to build my own Shana DD with it.
I got lots of thought on it at first, "Haruhi's Head + MDD body" should be a great match but it costs..."MDD Iria" have great eyes but the face isn't Shana enough.
Finally volks have inspired me - the MDD Louise announced in Nagoya 4!!!!

To be honest, A-zone's has done a great job for this outfit, except for the weapon which come in resin cast(?) and need to be painted ourself...

Very good work on this Shana, Louise's head really does the trick like a charm, and the wig is just right too. Brows could be a bit more reddish and tsun-styled, but that's just me being picky, i wish i could stole her from you !
I do wish I have a Haruhi head....eyes and brows are really close to Shanna's^^

Azone's package didn't come with the wig.
I got it from an online wig story called Zephyr.
Oh god she is wonderful! Louise face really does the trick for Shana too. This this looks much better then a haruhi head would have. She's so great. Are you going to get her a brown wig too?
I have a question for you too. How is the MDD body like? Especially the legs. I have a MDD Mirai and she has very bad legs, can hardly handle a standing pose for long and can't even think about cute windy day pictures. How are Shana's legs like? Do they hold out like the dd legs, or are they floppy and hard to pose with? I'm just wondering if volks have changed the body at all yet because I know tons of people have problems with mdd legs.
I wish so. Haruhi / Nagato's eye would be nicely fit for her normal form.
I also heard MDD body have quite loose joints. MDD Louise body seems didn't have modifications, but joints are tight enough for normal posing. I think a stand is a must for outdoor shooting...

try google zephyr wig. though not much to choose from there but the red colour ones are quite special!!!

I'm very curious if there's a way to keep track of what limited outfits Azone releases for Wonder Festivals? Do they have a website that announces them? I have their Sailor Saturn one and it's absolutely amazing. I stumbled on it by pure luck on Yahoo japan auction. I would love to get more of these incredible outfits!

Azone, Volks and other manufacturers do have pages announcing WF products. Sometimes Azone will have advertisements on magazines like Dengeki Hobby / Hobby Japan. You may keep your eyes on these sources. Hope you will get your favorite outfits from yahoo~~
