Little Buster Kudwafter

Kudo is a custom head, eyes, and make-up. Will be working on her outfit and hairpin later.

Which is better for Kudo?

I really can't say whether I'd want DDS or MDD for that character if that was my dollfie or not, there simply is not enough info out there on DDS yet. Heck, even the staff at Volks Tenshi no Sumika in LA (Torrance, actually) have no clue about details about DDS. Since there are no dolls they can sell outside Japan with the body they haven't been briefed yet.

I know that MDD is a pain. My Namiko Yamamoto has a v.2 MDD body, so she can stand on her own two feet until the cows come home...that is, once you get her balanced. She has a DDH-04 head which is the biggest of the four and heaviest. However, the fact that she doesn't have a continuous Dollfie Dream Internal Frame is a pain in the butt. Sometime's it is a feature...it's dead easy to pull out the wrist joint to help her on with clothes...but more often than not it's a bug. Like when the arm comes apart at the elbow when you least want it to happen.

There is a third option, and that is Volbitsu hybrid. Obitsu "white skin" and Volks "normal skin" is a fairly close match. And the Obitsu 50cm body is cute and small and wears MSD-sized clothes except for pants and other clothes that go all the way to the ankle. The 50cm is taller than MSD/MDD. It's the same basic build, albeit with a little more than mosquito bites on the chest. 50cm girls have little oppai but they are definitely oppai. Obitsu 50cm has been out for a while, and Junky Spot in Northern California is perhaps the best place to get 'em if you live in the States or in Canada.

Plus: Obitsu have magnetic feet. This is great for when you are taking pictures on a metal surface. Obitsus are quite stable that way, and this allows for radical poses impossible with a DD. I'm looking to do a foot mod that will give Dollfie Dream magnetic feet as well, because I want to use a piece of sheet metal underneath my greenscreen when I'm doing green screen shoots. But Obitsu has them right now, no mods necessary.

My Z and Mitzi are both Obitsu 60cm. Z's a modded boy and Mitzi's been kept female. There is also a 65cm male body coming, and that is something I'm looking forward to.

Thanks for the information Ms. Geek! Will have to wait longer to see reviews on this body, I have a feeling DDS is not a continuous skeleton though.

Haha that is true! The DDS is about 50cm where as MDD is 42cm I think. MDD just does not have the correct shape for kudo's age though. That is why I question it.

    cute bat hairpin x3
i cant' decide which body would fit, i think i'll have to literally see it myself first =x
then again, i think it's how you want to portray Kudo, MDD if you want a more loli feel and DDS if you want a more adolescent feel ? x3
