HG Mobile CGUE custom

Posted by Zack7zzz the V [www]

first.. i think for those who follow the WIPs will know that this kit should have larger back wings when it complete.. well.. i will tell the story why it complete without additional wings in here.. here

so.. here is the summary of the work..

additional pla plate armors on:

-chest
-shoulders
-waist front skirt

material:

-pla plate 0.5mm
-surfacer 1000
-Mr.color gloss black
-Mr.color orange
-Gaia red (mix with Mr.color orange to create darker orange)
-Mr.color gray
-Mr.color white (mix with Mr.color gray, Mr.color white and Mr.color black for weapons)

i'm not using much color for this color scheme.. the color scheme will just look simple.. enjoy the pics..

Nice color scheme! It'd be nice to see more of these grunt suits shown. They are fun build tho.

thx anyway. regarding on the painting you mentioned.. first..

what kind of paint you are using? industry type or the hobby type.. industry type will always create uneven surface..

      second..

did you sand the area properly or did you use any surfacer? if pure using sanding technique.. then.. few different grade of sand paper needed in order to make the surface smooth after paint.. the sand paper should start with the low grade to high grade to make a fine surface for paint.. as for the surfacer.. higher grade surfacer will help but remember.. you still need to sand the part but not that much because surfacer can help..

      third..

watch out the airflow on your painting station.. dust will always be the enemy..

      hope it can help..

thanks for the guide info!! and i did use krystal spray paint, mostly the sparkling type. i haven't use any sanding or any surfacer because i still new at painting job. so,sanding make the surface smooth but what does surfacer do then??! :\

the surfacer make the surface more smooth after sanding because we may miss some spot during the sanding..
