Yagyu Jubei!

It's an older figure, but with the recent of Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls they were nice enough to do a reissue so I was able to satisfy the imouto moe urges.
I hope you like the shots! Any comments on how to improve my photography are much appreciated.
I've got a bunch more shots on my blog over here if you're interested!
Oh and bonus points if you can guess who's in the background.

it's not how old a figure is^^ it's how well made they are^^
Background is Nymph-chan from Sora No Otoshimono?
Yep, it's Nymph. You get a cookie!
Shes gorgeous. *Claps Claps*
I think its really well made.
one of my favourite PVC figures in my collection wohoooooooooo XD
What a lovely figure. :o
Great figure. Really nice expression. I like the first two shots best. A little extra flash bounced around the front of the figure would improve the shots IMHO.
You're right. I guess I really need a mirror or something to light up the front a little more.
Very nice. Wanted to buy it, but if I buy anymore figure, my parent will kill me. T_T
Aaaah how I would like to have it too but it's so expensive >.< And nice photos. I especially like the last one.
very cool and colorful
your first picture looks great =)
one of my favorites. When I first opened her I couldn't stop looking at her she is just gorgeous! xD
I know it's completely unimportant, but I am constantly amazed by how she is carrying her swords. Katana and odachi are not exactly light-weight, after all. Must be some really taut silken cords on powerful thighs, there! '(^ω-)
I's simply magic my friend ^^
Watched Samurai Girls. Was not impressed. The character designs are cool though.
*Cracks up at the idea that Yagyu is an "older" figure* She's only a year old! She's lovely though and that's why I simply couldn't resist her. Mind you, I think the reds on mine are a bit off... It might just be because she's still in plastic without direct light on her, but I'm pretty sure my girl doesn't have the vivid reds of your picture. Did you enhance the image?
Sort of. I upped the saturation but mostly it was the lighting and the tweaking of the white balance. For sure the reds are much more pale in standard fluorescent lighting which is probably what you have in your house.
Much appreciated. I was beginning to wonder if the colours had changed between her first release and her second (mine is from the second one) since pictures from the first batch show such a vivid red, but that's probably due to some image enhancements.
