A Week of Figures 42
Oct 18th – Oct 24th:
All week I have been waiting for the last of my Oct loots but they still haven’t came…I am feeling impatient, it usually doesn’t take this long. I hope the the package is alright and that it will arrive soon.
The weekends were rainy and cold, which is the way I like it. Although it did made me feel quite lonely on those days. ^ ^;

I watched my friend’s Unlimited Blade Works DVD on Saturday, was great. I am just starting the game, I had to play it in English because I really wanted the voices. >.<;
Here’s a lovely photo of my Nendoroid Saber Lily. ^ ^

Lovely Sanae as well. ^ω^

Same poses as last week, but still cute, no? I don’t think I will get tired of this. ^ ^;

Hachune Miku, dashing for something. 葱 (negi)?

It has been so long since I took a photo of Kureha!

Some Nanoha goodness~

Random poses with them. Haven’t took a photo of them in quite a while as well…

And lastly, we have 瀬戸燦 (Seto San), with ネコミミ (nekomimi).
See you all again next week. ^ ^

Your camera is so awesome, I can see dust... LOL! But yeah, I like the Sanae nendo. DO WANT. ;~;
Yes, it is a very expensive camera. ^ ^;
The dust is non-visible to the human eye (unless you really stare at it!)
I love my Kochiya Sanae. ^ ^
cute nendo~
Arn't they all? ^ ^
especially this one :P
oh and azunyan~
I don't pick favorites. ^ ^;;;
Gonna try to buy one in Tokyo next year.
I'd love to go as well. T.T
My time will come 1 day....
Start saving up your money and it will be easy. My first two trips were a week long and cost $2000 and that included flight, hotel and almost $1000 of spending money. Since you're in CA, it should be even cheaper for you. Its all in the planning.
Thanks, I have been saving up (though I have no idea how much I have saved up...maybe a few hundred). I am still a student, so I will wait until I graduate next year...and it would be easier if I had a job...>.<;
I hear you but believe me it will be worth it. Get anything you can including part-time work because it will be the journey of a lifetime and doing it early in life will really benefit you. I did it at 38 years old and wish I had gone sooner. I will be going back again next year so start making plans and doing the trip research as this always motivates me.
Have been trying to get work since June, but no one seems interested in a high school student...*sigh* -.-;
Any advice for a 1st timer? I can read a decent amount of Japanese by the way.
Fast food places seem to be doing well in this economy so hit all the local chains in the area that's close by. Even a couple of days at two different stores will add up.
I loved this anime!
I love it as well! I still haven't finished it yet. ^ ^;
Too busy lately. T.T
Why did Ayako drop it!? I didn't like the other fansubbers...damn dubbing...
Always frustrates me when a subber drops a series before it ends. Rather have it all by the same group.
I know exactly what you mean. :(
haha^^ those are some nice close ups^^ i lieke the hachune shot here^^
Thanks. I usually do close-ups as I don't like taking pictures of the plain surrounding.
Hachune Miku is always awesome. ^ ^
Quite a few figures you have there that I wanted, like petit Hachune, Figma loli Nanoha and Seto. Nice photos by the way. ^^
I am very lucky to have them. ^ ^
I need to get a job soon though...won't be able to live off my savings forever...
i have problems on posing the cute types though. mine usually comes out wrong.
Posing isn't exactly easy. It's all on your creativity and sense of beauty. If you have problems making the pose look right, just speak to yourself, does the poses look natural? Usually small, subtle things can make a big difference.
If you can't think of a pose, then maybe try to give some interaction between figures, usually a story forms in your head and then just play it out. ^ ^
