First Cosplay Prop(updated)

Posted by Gikongan [www]

So proud of this, made this for my Yoko costume for Otakon 2009. it actually didn't take that long to make, built most of it in about 10 hours the sunday before the con. still needs some work though, got kicked around pretty badly at the con.

Other than the barrel lopping a bit it's great. Id say it'd be a good idea touching up some areas by adding an aditional coat of paint

Haha, I know where you were standing! I think... Otakon 2009 was my first convention! There were so many Yokos, but not many had the coat you have on in the pic!

For your own safety.. considering where Otakon is.. I wouldn't be sticking that out any windows.. Know what I mean.. and for your own safety put a orange cap on the muzzle.

funny story about that. i actually had a number of cops/random mall security stop and compliment it several times throughout the day. but a male friend of mine (dressed as Sousuke Sagara mind you) got harassed quite a bit when he carried it back to our hotel for me. My boyfriend did make me take it apart when we went to have lunch at the mall down the street.
