MCM Expo loot
It's been a week since the expo so this post is really late but I've been busy.
I didn't really spend much time taking pics of the event itself and I went on Sunday so most of the figure.fm group weren't there but I thought I'd post a little of what I picked up at the event.
I did do a few photos of the event tho. You can read about it either at Tomopop or my blog. The Tomopop one was more like a report and more PC. The blog post goes off on a tangent in certain areas and it covers a few other non-expo stuff.

This is what I picked up at the expo. Spent most of my funds at the Zen United booth. Bit of a surprise considering how naff a publisher they are!

Closeup shot of the stuff. I got the PS3 Blazblue arcade stick. I plan to try and mod it so it will work on PS3 and 360 since the 360 has lots of good shmups I want to play, like deathsmiles!! Anyone know how I can do that in London?
I also managed to pick up 6 of the 7 volumes of Nausicaa from the Viz stall. The deathsmiles and continuum shift posters were freebies. But why no Litchi on the CS poster?? Noel looks really weird too!

This thing was one of the art panels which zen united used to decorate their stall. They were selling them on the last day and I decided to grab noel! Don't even get me started on how I managed to get this behemoth back to my home! It's actually a little too big to fit in my room!

Meeting this guy made my entire weekend, but speaking to the other figure.fm guys, I got the impression that most of them missed his little stall so I thought I'd post pics. He goes by the name of Momiji and he's a Japanese Garage kit maker. In fact, he made one of the kits above from scratch!

This was his work and she was sold a the summer wonderfestival. I followed the progress of the kit on the FG boards and really loved it until I discovered that it was only going to be a bust...

This was a work by a different maker. Momiji was showing off kits from several makers on his stall. This one was by Kenohe

And this is the reason why! This kit was an entry for wonder showcase back in February for the winter wonder festival. For those who don't know, kits for wonder showcase are picked by a panel at wonder festival and the ones chosen basically get an elevated status over the other kits. Think of them as the best of the best according to those who chose them.

There were cards on the desk for the kits which were shown. Sadly, Kogithune didn't seem to have one (either that or they ran out on Friday cos my friend went to the stall on Sat and they weren't there either). but I managed to get cards for the other kit.
I had a very interesting chat with Momiji about garage kits in general with views on the hobby in Japan and the west. He says that he will try to come back to later expos. I really hope he does. It would be great to chat to him again.

This little fella failed to do his job
? it says Photography Permitted, which means photography is allowed >.> besides that, the guy is sitting right there, if he didn't want pictures to be taken, he probably would've said something =P
=_= read fail, sorry.
Doctor Who?
My school library has these.
If that's the case, then your school library is much cooler than the one I had when I was back in school!
Nice Noel poster! I wish they would do a figure of her or Rachel Alucard
Sadly, I've only seen Garage kits of Noel and Rachel around. I tried to get one of Noel, but she sold out really quickly apparently.
Aside from the nendoroid petit noel (which I should be getting soon with my copy of BB:CS) I don't think there are any other figures for BB characters.
