MG Exia Ignition Mode
Well, it was bound to happen. OO never was my favorite Gundam series, that distinction solely belongs to Zeta Gunam, but damn does the Exia look nice. I prefer my mobile suits to attack from range, but something about the Exia's slim and ergonomic design as a fast close-in melee fighter piqued my interest.
Pre-ordered this bastard from HLJ and got it in about a week from release. Built with just your standard OOB method, no fancy gimmicks or anything like that except for the no-brainer finger separation mod. Used Tamiya German Gray for the inner frame and dark gunmetal for the sword and weapons. Added a flat clear topcoat as well. I only panel lined a little bit of the details since I'm not really that big a fan of adding too much like most people do.

I really wish I could've pushed the creativity level a little more when it comes to posing this awesomely articlated kit.

So this was the reason why you've asked me if I'm working on any kits :3
Looks awesome, clean and all.. Though the blue paint looks uneven in the 2nd pic. And yeah.. Never liked panel lining too much.
not really the reason, just curious. I wish I could've painted that a different shade of blue but no, this is only topcoated.
Ohh.. The last 2 pics looks very nice though.
Nice work there!! You might want to use a tripod next time. I see few camera shakes. But that's some very nice kit!!
thank you. I borrowed a friends dslr for this but didn't get a tripod. yeah, it's hard to keep steady even w/ the auto settings.
nice clean build , painting and top coating..^^
i've been wanting to buy this but still not sure..XD what would be your complaints or your biggest complaint about this kit?that is if there is any..^^
complaints? the circular white part on the left hip cannot comes off easily if you attach the GN blades on em. they're so flimsy that for my kit, it actually broke. you'll notice the decal has been rubbed off because of the many times I had to replace it.
oh, i see, thanks for answering..^_^
very neat and professional of you sir.
F it! F for fantastic!
F? LOL, thanks, but I am hardly a pro.
One of these days.. im gonna buy one of these babies!!!
I highly recommend even if you're not a big 00 gundam fan.
