Otoha Karas

Otoha Karas is an expensive figure for its size, but its details, poseability and awesomeness is worth the price!
Fortunately, I got him for 9400yen (retail: 11800yen) at a Hobby shop in Ikebukuro... a few weeks back when I was in Tokyo ^^
Max Factory has done a great job on him and it's probably my fave action figure!
These photos were taken at the same time and place as Kodomut's Narika shoot. We met up to take night shots of our figures. This is my first attempt at night shoots though and I find it quite fun! ^^
should be able to guess which figure's pose Karas is mimicking ^^
I can never afford her, so a similar pose will do =P

Nice figure but even better photography, guess another figure I need to add to my "must have" list.
Man the craftsmanship was superb on this one. Saw it at the shops during the weekend. My friend was like scratching his pants just hoping he has enough cash to buy it, but ended up he didn't. Yeah it's quite pricy but if you're a HUGE fan I say for or it.

yep that's why I didn't pre-order him, but luckily I was able to get in Japan!

the base is too big to bring along.. fortunately :3
the stand is metal... don't remember wat material the base was though ^^;

awesome figure and awesome shoot, especially like this one image ID#10330. I was tempted to get him when my local hobby store brought in some stock but someone bought it first before I make my decision

I think online stores don't really stock on Karas because of its price ^^;
I have a local shop (http://www.latendoshop.com/) that has Karas and ships overseas I think... but it's expensive ^^;
Nice. Does the head fall off quite easily when turning it? Mine does :(
yep.. it usually falls when I change poses ^^;
my left arm too, maybe u can use nail polish to make them tighter?
