Planting a Tail
Ever since I adopted Horo-chan many moons ago, her shippo’s really bothers me to this day…
The fact that the design of her tail is to attach to her rear via wearing an ugly piece of pantsu… ^^;
I guess all Azone Horo parents feel the same as I am… >,<
Wearing the pantsu for a long time really damages her abdomen as well as her butt… :o
They’re all outta shape! Where’s my plump sexy wolfie butt!?
This is the tail part that comes in the original package of Azone Horo… The tail is actually sewn onto the pantsu itself, with only a couple of thin thread to hold it in place… ^^;
Not content with such design, I’ve finally decided to take the matter into my own hands… Time for a modification!
Kachak! Off you go shippo from the pantsu! XD
Better keep the pantsu as a spare since you’ll never know when it may become useful in the future… ^_~
The idea here is to create a hole onto a spare body I got exclusively for this project and insert the root of the tail into the said opening…

And… Done!
Now spreading her hole so I can insert the tail…
See those wires? They’re actually hidden inside the tail itself, I just cut a small hole at the root of the tail to release them to view…
Spreading the wires out to hold the tail into place.
All done! The tail is now firmly attached onto Horo’s new body! :D

Now Horo can pose in her birthday suit, in true Ookami to Koushinryou style! :P

That aside, that's because the shiny parts aren't painted...
Hmm somehow the head looks too big.. the body is 25cm? How do she looks like with 27cm body?
Anyway, you can flat coat the legs and arms to make it more even with the soft torso. Just remember to not top-coating the soft part too (the soft part will become sticky if top coat were applied on it)
On 27cm she looks like a Meltrandi... XDc
