I've been waiting ever since I saw the prototype. I'm glad she wasn't released as a limited edition. Had to pass on Racing Miku Nendoroid because of that.
The design of Racing Miku is quite nice, imo. ^^
This figure is based off of an illustration by redjuice, one of my favorite artists.
Sculpted by Sakurako Ishinaga. Her most notable works are World is Mine Miku and Love is War Miku.

Yeah, it seems like they're really taking their time with LiW Miku. Which is probably one of my most anticipated figures, ever. I have so many lingering, unanswered questions, too.
Like about the glorious base. I've heard rumors that there will be two versions of release; one including the base and one without it. Of course these are just rumors though.
But anyway. If a longer wait means a better product, then I don't mind at all.
Same! I love just about any Miku figure personally. But I really like this interpretation of Miku.
Yeah, I don't mind waiting if it means a good product either. But like you I'd say LIW!Miku is my most wanted figure right now so I'm getting impatient. xD I think two versions (with and without base) would be good for a wider variety of collectors but I just hope that if that holds true, the one with the full base won't be an exclusive or anything! I really like the base. *0*

I really like her outfit, though I'm missing the "woawwww" factor here. I don't know why but her hair bothers me, because it doesn't have the volume most other Miku figures have. I'll probably skip this one, though I'm still trying to get my hands on the nendo! XD
You're not the first person that's mentioned being bothered by the hair, actually. >_>
Personally, I like thinner twintails (like Azusa's) so this figure really appeals to me. True, most Miku figures that are based off her original design give a lot of volume to the hair, and I don't mind that either.
I think it's just a matter of preference.
Me too, the Nendoroid is just sooo adorable. Though I can't find a Racing Miku Nendo for under $100.. I think it's pretty hopeless for me because of the steep price. T_T
The nendoroid sure is expensive, but once in a while it shows up at Mandarake, I'll probably get it from there after the holdays are over. (These months are damn expensive!)
I guess im the only Miku fan who's not liking this.. something about it is screaming "I'm Not Miku"

It doesn't look very 'Miku' to me, but the detail and shading are beautiful.
i agree there is a little something off that doesn't seem to make it very miku.
