End of November Loot
Hey guys!
I hope you enjoyed your small vacation last week, at least for us Americans. My Thanksgiving dinners was great and Black Friday shopping was even better. The rest of my November loot finally made its way to my door today. I was ecstatic when I finally opened my package and got my hands on the BRS and DM figures. Even though we all know BRS had the star mishap, its still a magnificent figure. As for DM, she is totally different than her promo shots online. I was worried that the color and the ridges would ruin her design, but GSC pulled this one off right. Jubei has been on my pending list for a while. I love her design, but at the time of her release I didn't know too much about the character until I been up to date with Hyakka Ryoran and instantly she became my favorite character from the series. November was probably the biggest order I have made yet. I bought items I had pre-ordered months in advanced and bought unplanned items due to their specials for Black Friday. I also received Max Factory's Kureha yesterday. Since I started collecting May 2010, she has been on my want list for quite some time. So I'm glad she's finally added to my collection. I also bought Bome's Aya Natsume and received Alter's Yui Hirasawa on Black Friday. Anyways here's my small but growing collection as of now. I also have Miku "World is Mine" Natural frame and Good Smile's White Album Rina Ogata on order and should be arriving at the end of this week.....I think I need a bigger shelf ^_^
Kureha came the day before and is already displayed on my shelf, so no...its not just an empty box haha.
I might have to keep these in their boxes until I buy a bigger shelf. *Crosses fingers*- Please Ikea have a upcoming sale.

Yui joins her fellow HTT bandmates and jams with the Gorillaz. Miku is weary because she wore the wrong outfit. Throw Miku in there and instant pawn on everybody haha.
Aya Natsume surrounded by Sabers. Also there is no leaning issues with Trumphant Excalibur, I used a figma stand just in case she decides to break. I read/saw horror stories of Canaan and Alphard breaking on their own.

Waiting outside my local comic book store, Tate's, to open for their Black Friday specials. Planning on doing Yurippe from Angel Beats! Itashi.

Looks like you really need some new shelves or to display some figures somewhere else. Its getting far too crowded in there.
Yeah I'm going to Ikea soon to pick up either Detolfs or Billy units. I have 7 figures on order at the end of the year so I definitely need the spacing.

Did you get all your loot on Black Friday sale?
No, the only ones I got on Black Friday was Bome's Aya Natsume, GSC's Miku "World is Mine" and GSC's Rina Ogata from Toys Logic which haven't arrived yet. Yui Hirasawa I bought from someone on this forum, Kureha I won off an auction on ebay and everything else were ordered prior to Black Friday on Amiami.

Great store, they always have 20% off but usually you have to have their coupons. Even if they're expired they accept them and since I know someone working there, I got 20% off my entire purchase whenever. Their products are awesome!

The collection continues to grow. Waiting on King Kazuma and a Saber Lily I traded for myself. Black Friday got me on the PC front as I ordered a new cpu/motherboard and ram that was on sale.
Nice pickups on King Kazuma and Saber Lily. Nice upgrades on the hardware, I think a couple places still have Cyber Monday deals going on?...I might have to check out newegg again for their deals.
That's where I got my stuff. Picked up an i5-760 cpu and an Asus P55 mobo for $250. Can't beat that especially after I overclock it to 4Ghz.

Yeah, should be super fast with my SSD boot drive. Hardware install is easy but the OS is a pain because I have to install XP first and then do an upgrade to Win7. Gonna sell my AMD X3 cpu/mobo/ram to get most of my money back afterward.

did not bite on toyslogic black friday sales, got 18 total figures (from amiami/hobbysearch) for November already.
Wow...18 figures is huge! Toys Logic did have great deals but most of the nice products were already gone so you didn't miss much.
not that big, since 10 are small ones, (6 nendo + 4 figma) + odin play arts kai + 7 (1/6,1/7, 1/8) pvc figures.
total of 18.
hopefully they will arrive this weekend.
i'm new to pvc figures, and also have shelf problem, i considered getting Ikea shelves, but i ended up making my own by removing the sliding door of my closet, then made the closet into a shelf (floor to ceiling), i just need to install some sliding glasses now. will post it later on once my nov orders arrive.
we have almost the same figures, same taste eh? XD
Haha yeah apparently we do have the same tastes, nice collection btw. I wanted to make my own display cases too but I need to hit Lowe's or Home Depot and check out how much the material cost. I have a feeling though buying a shelf from Ikea would probably break even or cost a bit less. Goodluck with the project and post pictures when its done!

Oh thanks haha, I actually got lucky on her. Someone was selling her for $45 USD and I was like O_O, so jumped on it. I'm still looking for Alter's Aegis and Elizabeth. Found both of them on ebay last week but the winning bids I think was more than my Kureha.

I love how her box looks too. Apparently DM's skulls logo on the box is supposed to glow in the dark so I'm going to try it tonight.
I have this too! She seems to have trouble standing though because of her feet being on such an angle ^^"
Yup she's great, but mine's doesn't really have a standing issue. You can't see from the picture but the sides of her feet are flat so it gives the illusion she's tipping a bit.
Kureha is hawt!!! Ur lucky to get your hands on her... She's kinda rare right now...

I have the Square Enix Kai figures too! They are so fantastic @_@ Recently though, Rukias bow fell off and I had to super clue it O_o and one of her wrists is really REALLY loose..scares me a bit I think its gonna fall off ;_;
