Easiest/Hardest figures to clean and how to clean them?

Hey guys!

Well I just finished cleaning my collection today and I have to say its getting really exhausting especially since my collection is growing rapidly. In my case since I dust/clean my collection once every 2 weeks or so. I'm definitely thinking about getting Detolfs or bookcases with glass doors, but even then dust manages to break in. I don't accumulate much dust but if I see a specs of them, I would take time out of my schedule to clean everything. I sometimes use the keyboard air blower to clean my figures, but usually I do it by hand with soft cottonballs. The hardest figure in my collection to clean is Max Factory's Miku VN02 due to her size and numerous curves. The easiest is my GSC's Shiki Ryogi White Kimono, she's just a straight vertical pose.

I was wondering what are your guys hardest/easiest figures to clean and how do you clean them?

For myself, it's GSC's Golden Darkness PVC...The way her hair is sculpted makes it really tedious to get the dust off each strand, and if not careful you might damage it. Moreover, her skirt is surprisingly spiky and delicate, it pricked me several times while trying to get a good angle of cleaning.

I would have to agree with you on the Miku VN02, takes a great deal of time to get through all those curves.

Hardest to clean is my resin figures because the dust seems to stick it if I don't dust regularly. I'm using a detolf to house most of my figures and its one of the best things I've bought.

I usually dust them every week with a soft-haired brush, and then it's not that difficult. But yeah, the more figures you get the more tedious it becomes. As for the most difficult, I'd h ave to say my BRS orinal ver., since her coat has all these flops and curves, and the dust sticks to it more than usual....

All of my figmas are still in their boxes, because I have no where to display them safely. The few things I have on my desk and shelf usually I can get away with a damp soft cloth or compressed air.
