Well, I've finally gotten 'round to it after having my Luka figma since last Monday!! I finally had a chance this afternoon to get some pics of her..

My only real disappointment is how stiff her hair and skirt is. It sorta limits any poseability. (possibly can't get that "glossy" look to her dress if it was made of the same plastic like Saber Casual's dress. It has a bit "flatter" texture)
I did notice a small "dot" on each knee. A manufacturing defect?... Any one else have this?
When changing her face, (only two, I wish there were more ) be very careful of her Boom Mike, it is slightly in the way and looks pretty fragile...

Sadly, after I was shooting some pics with Saber a couple weeks ago, her hand broke when I was changing them. A drop of superglue later, it was back together.
But there was a "drawback"...
(I felt guilty for how sad she looks here)

It seems to be a motif in just about all the Crypton Vocaloids--Rin and Len definitely have those dots, and I'm pretty sure that Lily's got some too. Miku's are the most obvious though, since hers are on her thigh-high boots at the thigh, knee, and top of the foot. Luka's only got them on the knees because of her boots,, and Rin and Len's legwarmers don't go high enough for them to have ones on the thigh.
Bummer about her hand. At least it looks like you managed to get the peg out, unlike on my Figma Fate, who's been stuck handless on one side for over a year because of the peg stuck there.
Hmmm, must designed into them, I guess. (I hope) I did notice that of the four figmas I have, Saber is the only one with a little "ball" on the end of the hand peg. Is it the same with Fate?... I'm thinking I need to sand/cut down the ball to avoid any more issues... To get Fates peg out? Is there enough sticking out to grip with a tiny set of pliers?... (shudders at drilling out such a small peg)
They used the balls on the earlier Figmas, from the first year or so they were produced, but enough people had issues with the pegs breaking that they later eliminated the balls from the wrist design. Unfortunately, by the time they'd made the change, I had shifted my fun money into my DD fund, so all the Fimgas I have are the older ball-wrist type, Fate included. I tried using tweezers to get the peg out, but all I ended up doing was wearing dow the plastic to where there's nothing to grab onto anymore. ^^; I might have tried harder if not for the fact that the same arm fell out of its socket to the point where I can't get it to stay anymore. None of my other Figmas have such issues, but Fate just got a double dose.
Ouch!!.. Looks like a drill is the only surgical procedure option left! Unless GSC might have spares or such. *doubtful, I think* I got lucky with Sabers hand, it broke in half, right where the lateral pin goes thru her wrist, easy to pull out, but a royal pain in the arse for an easy fix.

She tries!.. Mostly she's been eyeing Luka's tuna and laughed her ass off when Luka hit me with it earlier.... (I did have to hide her katana, though) Been enjoying your twitpics of Renge and Nutmeg, makes me think of getting a shinki or two myself...
Haha! Careful, or the two might team up and order more Tunas to pass onto others ^^. Oh, and I'd recommend keeping an eye on them making any fishing rods to fish any other tunas up :P.
And nice, thanks ^^. Nutmeg is Persocom's though...Renge complained once about her hair but she enjoyed the snow, for now. What Shinki you looking forward to getting?
As long as the Tuna isn't in a CAN, I might be ok!! *chuckle* I think KawaiiLotus had a Pomock and an Alna for sale recently, I thought about both, but I need to arrange for a money order or cash. *If they're still for sale, someone might've already picked 'em up, they still had the battle codes..

I am surprised, too, that Max Factory designs some of their Figmas in a way that severely limit poseability. If it wasn't for Saber Alter's ankle, it would be one of my favorites...
Can Luka even kneel? Or does she sit with the hem of her wrap? :p

Sadly, she can't sit or kneel. She's still a pretty lil thing though, if it weren't for the "Corruption Garden" video, I probably wouldn't have gotten her....

I love my Luka figure. An alternate more flexible dress would have been a nice inclusion. But she almost looks like a PVC figure when posed.
Agreed, she does have a nice look when posed. I'll definitely keep her.
