Looking for Sheet Music source

This is a genuine request for help from those who have a rather specialist knowledge...

Looking for Sheet Music source

I'm due to make my first trip to Japan next year, and I need help to track down some of my souvenirs. I'm happy to spend time looking for electronics equipment and those vital anime otaku items around Akihabara, but where is the best place in Tokyo to pick up sheet music?
One of my 'must-have' pieces is any K-On songbook. Other items in this line are of a similar theme, so you now know what souvenirs I'm looking for.
Another small request is what is the Japanese for 'sheet music' and 'songbook'? No dictionary I have can tell me, and my experience of on-line phrase-books leaves me doubting the accuracy of any translation.
There's so much good music in Japan, I'd like to play some of it here in the UK to educate those less fortunate than ourselves.^_^
Arigatou gozaimasu.

I checked it up in the online dictionary I use for most words I don't fully understand in Japanese yet and it comes up with.

譜 【ふ】 (n) (sheet) music; (musical) note; (musical) score - so, it's just "fu"
Written music is 譜面 - ふめん - fumen.

AFAIK that's right. Google comes up with a lot of results for it. ^^

      Thanks Qikz. Very useful.
By the way, I'm in Kent. Perhaps we should meet at the next London Expo?

I believe the term for music sheet would be 「楽譜」。

      Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately, I don't read Kanji. I know the second Kanji is ふ, but can you give me the hiragana for the first?

My bad, I forgot to add the hiragana. It's 「がくふ」 (gakufu).

My first is the sax, but due to my teaching, the clarinet is fast becoming my most played. However, because I teach and play anything required in a small band, I play most instruments of the woodwind, brass and string variety. This is mainly bass guitar, mandolin and keyboards - among others!
I enjoy arranging, though, even if I'm not too good and everything takes forever to complete.
      Do you play?

I looked into the anime sheet music scene and all I have to say is good luck finding printed sheet music.
BTW I play the bass guitar (lefty) and I also play violin. In the past I have played acoustic guitar and piano
