Figure Christmas Bash 2010

Buddy, determined to outdo himself from last year, went out and found the biggest pre-decorated tree he could, then gathered everyone in the room to see.

Despite Buddy's obvious enthusiasm about his accomplishment, the others were less thrilled.

"It's already decorated, where's the fun in that?"

Yoshika: "Whee!"

Buddy: (Hmph. I go out of my way to find that amazing tree, and for what? They make me go find a smaller one...no thanks, no "Hey Buddy, great job!" No. Just, "It's too big, we need a different one." Ungrateful jerks...)

Drossel: "Buddy, that was amazing--getting that giant tree all by yourself, just for us. You're so kind (insert other obvious flattery here)."

Drossel: "......when did he start talking?"

Because of Pocco's....erm....we'll call it "derp-ishness," we gave her the simple task of putting the tree skirt on the tree. She could barely grasp that concept, unfortunately...

Suzuki: "Here kitty, kitty, get out of the tree..."

Saber Alter: *smack* *smack*

Suzuki: "Stop it! You're scaring the poor thing..."

I don't know what product line he is, or what his name is, but we're calling him Skeet X3

Skeet: "Dude...these lights suck, they don't even, like....light up."

Skeet: "Sweeeeet, lights that actually light up. I'd say good find Kiba, if I wasn't so sure you'd stolen those from someone..."

Don't laugh--they're less expensive than Dollfies, and they make a nice substitute for those of us who can't afford one XD Yes, I have secret love of Monster High dolls. Now you all know my terrible secret--carry it to the grave with you x3

Draculaura: "Hey, Holt's not helping!"

Holt: "Hey, I'm blogging about our amazing Christmas bonding experience." (lol, yes, that's the Target symbol on his computer screen)

(in background) Murdoc 1: "Wot's that supposed to be?"
Murdoc 2: "I think it's supposed to be me."
Murdoc 1: "You mean me?"
Murdoc 2: "Yeah...no...wait, what?"

Vespio: "Why aren't these two doing anything?"

Yoko: "Um...they don't have arms or legs..."

Same as last year, Kuro can't stay out of the tree...

Suzuki: "GET OUT OF THE TREE!"

The Pumpkin King's hands made great temporary ornament holders x3

Pocco: "Derp."

I know it makes absolutely no sense, but I love putting these two together XD Despite the complete randomness, I think they're an adorable couple x3

Kiba's tail made for a wonderful method of transporting ornaments from point A to point B :3

Btw, if anyone has any idea what brand of figure or what series Kiba and Skeet come from, let me know--I'd be really grateful X3

*Note: the largest of the three Murdocs was 100% handmade by yours truly :3 He's completely posable, just like any other figure--he just doesn't look as good x3

Delicious ornament that resembles a candy is....well, not so delicious, actually.

Miku's hair helped to get some of the ornaments to higher places on the tree o3o

Jun's ears prove to be just as useful =3

This was by far the most difficult picture to take. Monster High dolls have poor balance all by themselves, let alone when you put a slightly unstable Revoltech on their shoulder ><

After much argument amongst the others, I decided that Partio got to put the star on the tree, because I play favorites X3

Everything past here is just close-ups of various parts of this scene, since it's kind of hard to see what's going on in just this one.
